Famous Dongargarh

Dongargarh was famous with the ancient names like kamakhya nagari or dungraky nagar. Depending on the style and composition of the ruins columns researchers it is a discover of kaal-kuchri. Dongargarh is situated in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh Howrah-Mumbai rail route in south-eastern Central Railway and Raipur-Nagpur highway seemed marginal tehsil headquarters of Maharashtra province. In British rule it was called jamidri. In ancient time Bimali goddess is the presiding deity which was now known as Bamleshwari goddess.
In dongargarh hills there is remain of ancient statues. Maximum of the statues were either of 15-16th century. Nearby station there is siddhipit of Bimlai goddess.
Behind the hills there is a fort calle tapsi kalin which there is a temple of lord vishnu. Bimlai goddess is a deity of maina tribal. Almost thousand of stairs have to climb to see the goddess as after reaching the whole fatigue were lost and the fills with reverence.
In Indian literature hills are the residing place of all gods and goddess, eunuchs, panoramic promenades. Famous poetry kalidas told that Himalayan is the adobe of gods. Down the hills there is a temple of bamleshwari . There are other natural section of the caves in the mountains with the strangeness is famous for its magnitude. In 1968, the stairs were built and electrification. For the convenience of passengers access to drinking water from the mountain top crowd support system, hospices to stay, waiting, etc. have been made accessible complex and restaurant. The staircase is also facilitated.
