दान करें जीवन का कल्याण होगा

कीर्तिभवति दानेन तथा आरोग्यम हिंसया त्रिजशुश्रुषया राज्यं द्विजत्वं चाऽपि पुष्कलम। पानीमस्य प्रदानेन कीर्तिर्भवति शाश्वती अन्नस्य तु प्रदानेन तृप्तयन्ते कामभोगतः।। दान से यश, अहिंसा से आरोग्य तथा ब्राह्मणों की सेवा से राज्य तथा अतिशय ब्रह्मत्व की प्राप्ति होती है। जलदान करने से मनुष्य को अक्षय कीर्ति प्राप्त होती है। अन्नदान करने से मनुष्य को काम और भोग से पूर्ण तृप्ति मिलती है। दानी व्यक्ति को जीवन में अर्थ, काम एवं मोक्ष सभी कुछ प्राप्त होता है। कलयुग में कैसे भी दिया गया दान मोक्षकारक होता है। तुलसी दासजी ने कहा है- प्रगट चार पद धर्म कहि कलिमहि एक प्रधान येन केन विधि दिन्है दान काही कल्याण। दान की महिमा का अन्त नहीं संसार से कर्ण जैसा उदाहरण दानी के रूप में कोई नहीं। दान के विषय में चर्चा करने से पूर्व एक बात स्पष्ट करना चाहते है। कमाएं नीति से, खर्च करें रीति से, दान करें प्रीति से। ‘‘दान मगर कल्याण’’ यह वाक्य सामान्यतः हमें सुनने को मिल जाता है, किन्तु सामान्य व्यक्ति के मन में अनेकों प्रश्न उठ खड़े होते हैं- 1. दान क्या है ? 2. दान क्यों करें ? 3. दान का महत्व क्या है ? 4. दान कैसे करें ? 5. दान किसको करें ? 6. दान का फल क्या होता है ? परमात्मा ने प्रत्येक प्राणी को जीवित रहने के लिए, परिवार का पालन पोषण करने के लिए जीविका प्रदान की है लेकिन संसार में ऐसे प्राणियों की भी कमी नहीं है जो अत्यन्त निर्धन हैं, लाचार हैं, असहाय हैं, अपंग हैं तथा अशक्त हैं। उन प्राणियों के जीवन की रक्षा करना हमारा परम कर्तव्य है क्योंकि परम पिता परमेश्वर ने हमें इस योग्य बनाया है कि हम अपने परिवार के पालन पोषण के साथ-साथ, अपनी आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति के बाद भी, अन्य मजबूर तथा अशक्त लोगों की मदद कर सकें। मनुष्य के अतिरिक्त जीव-जन्तु जो स्वयं अपने भोजन की व्यवस्था नहीं कर सकते हैं, उनकी जिम्मेदारी भी भगवान ने मानव को दी है। इसलिए मानव मात्र का परम कर्तव्य है कि वह अपने परिवार के अतिरिक्त जीव-जंतुओं आदि के लिए भी भोजन का प्रबन्ध करे युग के अनुसार दान देने के तरीकों में भी परिवर्तन आया है जैसे- 1. सतयुग में दान- आदर के साथ श्रद्धापूर्वक किसी के घर जाकर दिया जाता था। यह उत्तम दान कहलाता है। 2. त्रेता युग में दान- इस युग में पात्र को अपने घर बुलाकर सम्मान पूर्वक दान दिया जाता था। 3. द्वापर युग में- याचना करने पर अर्थात मांगने के बाद दान दिया जाता था। 4. कलयुग में दान- तहलकर अर्थात काम लेने के बाद दान दिया जाता है जो लगभग निष्फल होता है । अतः हर युग में दान का महत्व रहा है। अलग-अलग ढंग से दान किया जाता रहा है परन्तु जब हमको ज्ञान हो चुका है तो क्यों न उत्तम प्रकार का दान आदर सहित दरिद्र के घर जाकर सम्मान पूर्वक दिया जाये, जिसका पूर्ण फल प्राप्त होता है। परमात्मा भी प्रसन्न होंगे तथा आपको भी खुशी मिलेगी। दान क्यों करें ? - लगभग सभी धर्मों के अनुसार हमें अपनी आय का कुछ भाग अवश्य ही दान करना चाहिए। ऐसा सभी धर्म ग्रन्थों में लिखा हुआ है तथा हम अपने पूर्वजों तथा बुजुर्गों से सुनते आए हैं कि हमें अपनी कमाई में से कुछ न कुछ भाग अवश्य ही दान करना चाहिए। भोजन बनाने के बाद भगवान को भोग लगाए बिना ग्रहण करना पाप समान माना जाता है। अतः भगवान को भोग लगाने के बाद आश्रित जीव-जंतुओं का भाग निकालना चाहिए। इस क्रिया को हम सभी के पूर्वज (दादी, नानी आदि) करते चले आए हैं। किसी भी त्योहार, तिथि विशेष (अमावस्या, पूर्णिमा, एकादशी आदि) पर तो ब्राह्मण, पंडित, पुजारी आदि को भोजन कराकर दक्षिणा देना हमारा परम कर्तव्य माना जाता है। हमारे शास्त्रों के अनुसार भी इस प्रकार से किया गया दान आवश्यक तथा उत्तम होता है। इस प्रथा को हम अपने आस पास सभी स्थानों पर देखते चले आए हैं। दान किसी पर अहसान करके नहीं करना चाहिए क्योंकि यह तो हमारी स्वेच्छा तथा श्रद्धा पर निर्भर होता है तथा दान देते समय अपने दुखों, कष्टों, दारिद्र््य आदि को कम किया जाना ही जातक का उद्देश्य होता है। अनिष्ट ग्रहों की शांति तथा विभिन्न प्रकार के कष्ट निवारण के लिए भी दान किया जाता है। अपनी आय का कुछ भाग दान करने से आत्म शुद्धि तथा धन की वृद्धि अवश्य ही होती है। यह परम सत्य है कि दान अपने स्वयं के कल्याण के लिए ही किया जाता है। दान से दरिद्रता दूर होती है, यहाँ तक कि अगला जन्म तक सुधर जाता है। दान देने से कभी भी कमी नहीं आती है क्योंकि किसी भी प्रकार से किया गया दान कभी भी खाली नहीं जाता है अपितु अगले जन्म तक उसका फल-प्रतिफल प्राप्त होता है। दान पुण्य कर्मों के एकत्रीकरण का उपाय भी है तथा अपने द्वारा किए गए अशुभ कर्मों का पाश्चाताप भी है। अशुभ कर्मों के निवारण के अनेकों सहज व सटीक उपाय हैं परन्तु उन सभी में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण उपाय दान है। अतः दान जब भी किया जाये सबको दिखाकर, प्रचार प्रसार करके कभी नहीं करना चाहिए, इस प्रकार से किया गया दान व्यर्थ हो जाता है क्योंकि सभी जानते हैं कि दान इस प्रकार से किया जाना चाहिए कि एक हाथ से दान किया जाये तो दूसरे हाथ को पता भी न चले। इसीलिए हमारे समाज ने गुप्त दान को सबसे अधिक महत्वपूर्ण स्थान दिया है। इस सम्बन्ध में एक छोटी सी कथा प्रचलित है- सीताराम नामक व्यक्ति मृत्योपरांत जब यमराज के दरबार मे पहुँचा तो यमराज ने फैसला सुनाते हुये कहा कि आप नर्क में जाइए तो सीताराम अड़ गया कि मैं नर्क में नहीं जाऊँगा। मैंने तो पृथ्वी पर रहकर अनेकों धार्मिक कार्य किए हैं, असीमित दान किया है, अनेकों मंदिर, धर्मशालाएँ, विद्यालय आदि बनवाए हैं, अनेकों यज्ञ आदि किए हैं, निर्धनों को कम्बल बांटे हैं तथा अनेकों बार लंगर आदि की व्यवस्था की है तब फिर मुझे नर्क में क्यों भेजा जा रहा है। यमराज ने हँसकर कहा कि तुमने ठीक ही कहा है कि तुमने अनेकों धार्मिक तथा कल्याणकारी कार्य किए हैं, परन्तु तुमने वे सभी कार्य अपना नाम कमाने अर्थात अपनी प्रसिद्धि के लिए किए हैं। सीताराम तुमने ध्यान नहीं दिया कि तुमने स्थान-स्थान पर अपना नाम लिखवाया है अर्थात तुम्हारे द्वारा किया गया प्रत्येक दान स्वार्थ से परिपूर्ण था तथा स्वार्थ पूर्वक किया गया दान दान नहीं कहलाता है। अतः तुम्हें नर्क भोगना ही पड़ेगा। इस कथा से यह शिक्षा मिलती है कि दान हमेशा गुप्त रूप से करना चाहिए, दान के बारे में किसी को भी पता नहीं चलना चाहिए तभी हम दान के उचित फल के भागीदार होंगे। गीता में भी कहा गया है कि कर्म करके फल की इच्छा भगवान के ऊपर छोड़ देनी चाहिए। कहा भी है- दान दीन को दीजिये, जासे मिटे दरिद्र की पीर। औषधि वाको दीजिये, जासे होवे निरोगी शरीर ।। दान किसको दें ? -यह भी एक विशिष्ट प्रश्न है। दान देने के मुख्यतः दो नियम हैं जिनका हमें दान देते समय ध्यान रखना चाहिए - प्रथम - श्रद्धा तथा द्वितीय - पात्रता। श्रद्धा से तात्पर्य है कि हमारा कितना मन है अर्थात हमारी कितनी क्षमता है। क्षमता से कम या अधिक दिया गया दान दान नहीं अपितु पाप कहलाता है। इसको हम एक उदाहरण से भली भाँति समझ सकते हैं, यदि किसी जातक की क्षमता पचास रूपये दान करने की है तो उसे पचास रूपये ही दान करने चाहिए। पचास के स्थान पर दस रूपये अथवा सौ रूपये दान करना दान नहीं अपितु पाप है। दान कार्य शुद्ध तथा प्रसन्न मन से किया जाना चाहिए। बिना श्रद्धा के मुसीबत अथवा बोझ समझ कर दान कभी भी नहीं करना चाहिए, इससे तो अच्छा है कि दान कार्य किया ही न जाये। किसी को अहसान जताकर कभी भी दान नहीं देना चाहिए। शुद्ध हृदय से दान देने से अपने हृदय को भी शांति मिलती है तथा दान लेने वाला भी खुश होकर मन से दुआ देता है, यह जरूरी नहीं कि उस दुआ की शब्दों के द्वारा ही अभिव्यक्ति हो। दान का दूसरा नियम पात्रता है अर्थात हम दान किसको दे रहे हैं वह दान की हुई वस्तु का उपभोग कर पाएगा या नहीं। इस तथ्य को हम इस प्रकार से समझ सकते हैं कि किसी देहात में बान से बुनी चारपाई पर सोने वाले व्यक्ति को शहर में डनलप के गद्दे पर यदि सोने के लिए कहा जाये तो उसे सारी रात नींद नहीं आएगी करवटें ही बदलता रहेगा। इसी प्रकार गरीब भिक्षुक को जो फटे-पुराने वस्त्रों में रहता है यदि नया वस्त्र पहनने को दिया जाये तो वह वस्त्र उसको काटेगा, वह उस वस्त्र को पहन नहीं पाएगा या तो वह उसे बेच देगा या फेंक देगा, उसे तो फटे पुराने घिसे हुये ही वस्त्र पसन्द आएंगे। भरे पेट वाले को भोजन खिलाने से उसके मन से कोई दुआ नहीं निकलती है अपितु यदि भूखे पेट वाले दरिद्र व्यक्ति को भोजन खिलाया जाये तो वह पूर्णतः तृप्त होकर मन से दुआएँ ही देगा। दान भोजन का ही नहीं किसी भी वस्तु का हो सकता है। रोगी के लिए औषधि, अशिक्षित के लिए शिक्षा, भूखे को भोजन, निर्वस्त्र को वस्त्र कहने का तात्पर्य यह है कि जिस के पास जिस वस्तु की कमी है और वह उसको प्राप्त करने में असमर्थ है तो अमुक जातक को अमुक वस्तु की व्यवस्था करा देना भी दान ही श्रेणी में आता है। अतः दान देते समय विशेष ध्यान देना चाहिए कि दान उचित पात्र को ही दिया जाये। विभिन्न ग्रहों का दान किसको कब दें ? - दान क्या दें ? - नव ग्रहों की शांति के लिए ज्योतिष शास्त्र में अनेक उपाय सुझाए गए हैं जैसे- मंत्र, जाप, हवन, दान, औषधि स्नान, तीर्थ, व्रत, यंत्र-मंत्र, नग आदि। इनमें से दान सबसे सरलतम उपाय है जो जातक को अपनी कुण्डली विश्लेषण के उपरान्त अनिष्ट ग्रहों की शांति के लिए समय-समय पर करते रहना चाहिए। पूर्व जन्म के कर्मों के अनुसार मानव को सुख दुख प्राप्त होते हैं। मानव अनेकों प्रकार की समस्याओं का सामना करता रहता है। पूर्णतः कष्ट निवारण का तो कोई भी सामथ्र्य नहीं रखता है किन्तु उपाय दान आदि से कष्ट कम अवश्य हो जाता है। नवग्रहों से सम्बन्धित दान की जाने वाली वस्तुओं के विषय में यों अधिकांश लोग जानते हैं फिर भी जन साधारण की जानकारी के लिए यह जानकारी उपयोगी एवं आवश्यक सिद्ध हो सकती है। दान का फल किसी वस्तु का दान करने से क्या फल मिलता है, इसको हम निम्न तालिका से जान सकते हैं। जिस वस्तु या खाद्य पदार्थ का दान किया जाता है, उस दिन उसका भोग-उपभोग नहीं करना चाहिए। वस्तु या पदार्थ त्याग के दिन इच्छानुसार बढ़ाए जा सकते हैं, जैसे- तीन दिन, एक सप्ताह, एक माह अथवा चालीस दिन या चातुर्मास। यदि आपका धन कहीं अटका हुआ है तो- 1. पूर्णिमा के दिन चन्द्र ग्रह के निमित्त दान करें। 2. सोमवार के दिन सफेद वस्त्रों का दान करें। 3. मंगलवार के दिन चैराहे पर सरसों का तेल डालें। 4. बुधवार के दिन गणेश जी को लड्डू का भोग लगाकर बाल गोपालों को बांटे/दान करें। 5. शनिवार के दिन अदरक अथवा सरसों के तेल का दान करें। दान के नियम- 1. दान उचित पात्र को ही दें। 2. दान श्रद्धापूर्वक दें। 3. दान शुद्ध हृदय से दें। 4. दान किसी भी प्रकार का प्रचार करके न करें। 5. दान अपनी कुण्डली का विश्लेषण कराके उचित पात्र को दें। 6. दान दिन/ वार के अनुसार करें। 7. दान शत्रु ग्रहों का न करें। 8. दान उच्च के ग्रहों का न करें। 9. दान नीच के ग्रहों का अवश्य ही करें। 10. दान कुण्डली में स्थित षष्टम, अष्टम तथा द्वादश भावों के स्वामियों का हमेशा करें। 11. दान सवेरे के समय बिना मुंह जूठा किए अर्थात् बिना खाये-पिये ही करें। 12. दान घर से बाहर निकलते समय ही देना चाहिए। 13. दान अनजान/अजनबी व्यक्ति को ही करना चाहिए। 14. दान किसी दरिद्र व जरूरतमन्द को ही करें। 15. दान ऐसे व्यक्ति को करना चाहिए जो दोबारा न दिखे या न मिले। 16. दान की गई वस्तु को उस दिन ग्रहण न करें। 17. दान अपनी क्षमता के अनुसार ही करें। 18. दान करके कभी भी न जताएं। 19. दान इस प्रकार से करें कि एक हाथ से करें तो दूसरे हाथ को पता भी न चले। 20. दान करके भूल जाएं उसे कभी याद न करें। 21. दान का हिसाब न लगाएं।

अस्त ग्रहों का कुंडली पर प्रभाव

सूर्य को ग्रहों का राजा कहा जाता है। जो ग्रह सूर्य से एक निष्चित अंषों पर स्थित होने पर अपने राजा के तेज और ओज से ढंक जाता है और क्षितिज पर दृष्टिगोचर नहीं होता तो उसका प्रभाव नगण्य हो जाता है। भारतीय फलित ज्योतिष में ग्रहों की दस अवस्थाएं हैं। दीप्त, स्वस्थ, मुदित, शक्त, षान्त, पीडित, दीन, विकल, खल और भीत। जब ग्रह अस्त हो तो विकल कहलाता है। अस्त होने का दोष सभी ग्रहों को है। सूर्य से ग्रह के बीच एक निष्चित अंषों की दूरी रह जाने पर उस ग्रह को अस्त होने का दोष माना जाता है। चन्द्रमा जब सूर्य से 12 अंष के अंतर्गत होता है तो अस्त माना जाता है। इसी प्रकार मंगल 7 अंषों पर, बुध 13 अंषों पर, बृहस्पति 11 अंषो पर, शुक्र 9 अंष और शनि 15 अंष में आ जाने पर अस्त होते हैं। ये प्राचीन मान्यताएं हैं। वर्तमान में कुछ विद्वानों का मत है कि ग्रह को तभी अस्त मानना चाहिये जबकि वह सूर्य से 3 अंष या इससे कम अंषों की दूरी पर हो। जो ग्रह सूर्य से न्यूनतम अंषों से पृथक होगा उसे उसी अनुपात में अस्त होने का दोष लगेगा। चन्द्रमा और बुध अस्त होने की स्थिति:- बुध प्रायः अस्त रहता है क्योंकि वह सूर्य के निकट रहता है। यही कारण है कि इसे अस्त होने का दोष नहीं लगता। बुध और सूर्य की युति को बुधादित्य योग के नाम से जाना जाता है। यह एक शुभ योग है। चन्द्रमा पृथ्वी का उपग्रह है। प्रत्येक माह की पूर्णिमा के उपरांत चंद्रमा और सूर्य के मध्य के अंष कम होने लगते हैं। अमावस्या के समय चन्द्रमा और सूर्य लगभग समान अंषों पर होते हैं। चंद्रमा जब सूर्य से 12 अंशों से कम दूर होता है तो अस्त होने का दोष माना जाता है परन्तु चन्द्रमा को तभी शुभ फलदायी समझना चाहिये जबकि वह न्यूनतम 70 अंष दूर हो। यदि चंद्रमा और सूर्य के बीच इससे कम अंशों का अन्तर होता है तो चंद्रमा स्वयं बली न होकर उस राषि या ग्रह का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है जिस से कि वह प्रभावित हो। यह शुभ स्थिति नहीं है। चंद्रमा जितना सूर्य के निकट होगा उतनी उसकी कलायें कम होंगी। अस्त ग्रह जीवन के दो पहलुओं पर नकारात्मक प्रभाव डालता है। जन्म लग्न में विभिन्न भावांे से अलग-अलग पहलुओं को देखा जाता है। जब कोई ग्रह अस्त होता है तो उसके नैसर्गिक गुण प्रभावित होते हैं। साथ ही वह जिस भाव का स्वामी होता है उसके फलांे में भी विलंब करता है। जैसे यदि बृहस्पति अस्त है और वह सप्तमेष है तो न केवल स्त्री सुख में बाधा बल्कि जातक में भी विवेकषीलता का अभाव होगा। इस प्रकार जब शुक्र चतुर्थेष होकर अस्त हो और अष्टमस्थ हो तो जातक में यौन शक्ति का अभाव होता है। यौन रोग होते हैं, माता के सुख में न्यूनता आती है। वाहन और भवन सुख में भी कमी आती है। अस्त ग्रह को बली नहीं समझना चाहिये। यदि सूर्य से अस्त ग्रह का अंषात्मक अंतर 3 अंष से अधिक है तो अस्त होने का दोष नष्ट हो जाता है। अस्त ग्रह सदैव दुष्फल देते हैं। कुछ स्थितियां ऐसी भी होती हैं जबकि अस्त ग्रह जिसका वह स्वामी है, के लिये शुभ स्थिति में होता है। सभी भावों में गुण दोष होते हैं परन्तु त्रिक भावों में अषुभ फलों की अधिकता होती है। हमारे विद्वानों का मानना है कि अस्त ग्रह त्रिक भावों 6-8-12 में हों तो फलों की वृद्धि होती है अर्थात ये भाव अपने अषुभ परिणामों को प्रकट नहीं कर पाते। इसका दूसरा पक्ष भी है। जब इन भावों अर्थात 6-8-12 के स्वामी अस्त हों तो समृद्धि आती है और सफलता मिलती है। यह स्थिति विपरीत राजयोग होती है।

नक्षत्र और उसके द्वारा फलकथन

नक्षत्र तारा समूहों से बने हैं। आकाश में जो असंख्य तारक मंडल विभिन्न रूपों और आकारों में दिखलाई पड़ते हैं, वे ही नक्षत्र कहे जाते हैं। ज्योतिष शास्त्र में ये नक्षत्र एक विशिष्ट स्थान रखते हैं। इनमें हमारे सूर्य से भी कई गुना बड़े सूर्य तथा तारे हैं। भारतीय ज्योतिष शास्त्र में नक्षत्रों की संख्या 27 मानी गई है, कहीं अभिजीत को लेकर 28 भी मानते हैं। 27 और 28 दोनों का उपयोग प्राचीन काल से आज तक हो रहा है। इनमें से प्रत्येक नक्षत्र का क्षेत्र 13 अंश 20 कला का है। इस प्रकार 27 नक्षत्रों में 360 अंश पूरे होते हैं। ‘अभिजित’ नक्षत्र का क्षेत्र इन्हीं के मध्य उत्तराषाढ़ा के चतुर्थ चरण और श्रवण के आरंभ के 1/15 भाग को मिला कर होता है। इसका कुल क्षेत्र 4 अंश 13 मिनट 20 सेकेंड है। नक्षत्रों का हमारे जीवन तथा हमारे व्यक्तित्व पर बहुत गहरा प्रभाव पड़ता है। हमारे जातक शास्त्र के अध्याय 9 श्लोक संख्या 85, 86, 87,88, 89, 90 तथा 91 में प्रत्येक नक्षत्र में जन्मे मनुष्य के स्वभाव तथा व्यक्तित्व के बारे में साफ-साफ लिखा है। श्लोक संख्या 85 अश्विन्यामतिबुद्ध वित्तविनयपज्ञ्र यशस्वी सुखी याम्यक्र्षे विकलोऽन्यदारनिरतः क्रूरः कृतघ्नो धनी। तेजस्वी बहुलोद्भवः प्रभुसमोऽमूर्खश्च विद्याधनी नक्षत्र तारा समूहों से बने हैं। आकाश में जो असंख्य तारक मंडल विभिन्न रूपों और आकारों में दिखलाई पड़ते हैं, वे ही नक्षत्र कहे जाते हैं। ज्योतिष शास्त्र में ये नक्षत्र एक विशिष्ट स्थान रखते हैं। इनमें हमारे सूर्य से भी कई गुना बड़े सूर्य तथा तारे हैं। रोहिण्यां। पररन्ध्रवित् कृशतनुर्बोधी परस्त्रीरतः।। अर्थात्- अश्विनी नक्षत्र में जन्म हो तो मनुष्य बहुत बुद्धिमान, धनी, विनीत, यशस्वी, सुखी होता है। भरणी नक्षत्र में जन्म हो तो विकल, बेहाल, परस्त्रीरत, क्रूर, कृतघ्न व धनी होता है। कृत्तिका नक्षत्र में तेजस्वी, राजा के समान, बुद्धिमान, विद्यारूपी धनवाला होता है। रोहिणी नक्षत्र में दूसरों के दोषों को जानने वाला, पतला शरीर, बुद्धिमान, परस्त्रीरत होता है। श्लोक संख्या 86 चान्द्रे सौग्यमनोऽदनः कुटिलदृक् कामातुरो रोगवान् आद्र्रा यामध्नश्चला ऽ कबलः क्षुद्रक्रियाशीलवान्। मूढ़ात्मा च पुनर्वसौ धनबलख्यातः कविः कामुकः तिष्ये विप्रसुरप्रियः सधनधी राजप्रियो बन्धुमान्।। अर्थात - मृगशिरा नक्षत्र में सौम्य विचारों वाला,भ्रमणशील, तीव्र नजरों वाला अर्थात् नजर से ही दूसरों को प्रभावित करने वाला, कामातुर, रोगी होता है। आद्र्रा नक्षत्र में धनहीन, चंचल विचारों वाला, बहुत बलशाली, निन्दित कार्य करने वाला होता है। पुनर्वसु नक्षत्र में किसी-किसी बात में अनाड़ी, प्रसिद्ध धनी, कवि हृदय व कामुक होता है। पष्य मबा्र ह्मणा व दवे ताआ का सत्कार करन वाला, धनी व बु द्धमानराजपिय्र , बंधु-बांधवों से युक्त होता है। श्लोक संख्या 87 सार्पो मूढ़मतिः कृतघ्नवचनः कोपी दुराचारवान् गर्वी पष्यरतः कलत्रवशगा मानी मधायां धनी। फल्गुन्यां चपलः कुकर्मचरितस्त्यागी दृढ़ः कामुको भोगी चोत्तरफल्गुनीभजनितो मानी कृतज्ञः सुधीः। अर्थात् - आश्लेषा नक्षत्र में मूढ़बुद्धि, कृतघ्नतापूर्ण वचन बोलने वाला, क्रोधी, दुराचारी होता है। मघा नक्षत्र में घमंडी, पुण्यकर्मों में रत, स्त्री क वश म रहन वाला, स्वाभिमानी, धनी होता है। पूर्वा फाल्गुनी नक्षत्र में चंचल बुद्धि, कुकर्मी, त्यागी, दृढ़ विचारों वाला व कामुक होता है। उत्तराफाल्गुनी में भोगवान्, मानी, कृतज्ञ व सद्बुद्धि वाला होता है। श्लोक संख्या 88 हस्तक्र्षे यदि कामधर्मनिरतः प्राज्ञोपकर्ता धनी चित्रायामतिगुप्तशीलनिरतो मानी परस्त्रीरतः। स्वात्यां देवमहीसुरप्रियकरो भोगी धनी मन्दधीः गर्वी दारवशो जितारिरधिकक्रोधी विशाखोद्भवः ।। अर्थात् - हस्त नक्षत्र में सांसारिक भोगों में रत, बुद्धिमान, जनों का उपकारी, धनी होता है। चित्रा नक्षत्र में बहुत गुप्त रूप से आचरण करने वाला, छुपा रूस्तम, स्वाभिमानी, परस्त्री में रत होता है। स्वाति नक्षत्र में देवों व ब्राह्मणों का हितकारी, भोगवान, मंदबुद्धि, धनी होता है। विशाखा नक्षत्र में घमंडी, स्त्री के वश में रहने वाला, शत्रुजेता, अधिक क्रोधी होता है। श्लोक संख्या 89 मैत्रे सुप्रियवाग् धनी सुखरतः पूज्यो यशस्वी विभुः ज्येष्ठायामतिकोपवान् परवधूसक्तो विभुर्धार्मिकः। मूलक्र्षे पटुवाग्विधूतकुशलो धूर्तः कृतघ्नो धनी पूर्वाषाढ़भवोऽविकारचरितो मानी सुखी शान्तधीः।। अर्थात् - अनुराधा नक्षत्र म प्रियभाषी, धनी, सुखभोगों वाला, पूज्य, यशस्वी, समर्थ होता है। ज्येष्ठा नक्षत्र में बहुत क्रोधी, परस्त्री में रत, समर्थ व धार्मिक होता है। मूल नक्षत्र में कुशल वक्ता, शुभहीन, धूर्त, कृतघ्न व धनी होता है। पूर्वाषाढ़ नक्षत्र में विकृत चरित्रवाला, मानी, सुखी व शांत मन होता है। श्लोक संख्या 90 मान्यः शान्तगुणः सुखी च धनवान् व श् व क्ष जः प डितः श्राण् या द्विजदेवभक्तिनिरतो राजा धनी धर्मवान्। आ श् लुर्वसुमान् वसूडुजनितः पीनोरूकंठः सुखी कालज्ञः शततारको द्भवनरःशान्तोऽल्पभुक्साहसी।। अर्थात्- उत्तराषाढा़ नक्षत्र म मान्यवर, शान्तचित्त, गुणवान्, सुखी, धनी व विद्व न होता है। श्रवण नक्षत्र में ब्राह्मणों व देवताओं की भक्ति से युक्त, राजा, धनी व धार्मिक होता है। धनिष्ठा नक्षत्र में आशावान्, धनवान्, मोटी गर्दन वाला, सुखी होता है। शतभिषा नक्षत्र म उत्पन्न व्यक्ति समय की चाल को पहचानने वाला अथवा ज्योतिषी, शांत, कम खाने वाला, साहसी होता है। श्लोक संख्या 91 पूर्वप्रोष्ठपदि प्रगल्भवचनो धूर्तो भयार्तो मृदु श्चाहिर्बुध्न्यजमानवो मृदुगुणस्त्यागी धनी पंडितः। रेवत्यामुरूलांछनोपगतनुः कामातुर सुन्दरो। मंत्री पुत्रकलमित्रसहितो जातः स्थिरश्रीरतः।। अर्थात- पूर्वभाद्रपद नक्षत्र में प्रगल्भ वचन बोलने वाला, धूर्त, भयभीत, कोमल स्वभाव वाला होता है। उत्तरभाद्रपद में कोमल स्वभाव वाला, त्यागशील, धनी व विद्वान होता है। रेवती नक्षत्र में जन्म होने पर जांघों में चिह्न वाला, कामातुर, सुंदर, मंत्री (मंत्र प्रयोक्ता या सलाहकार), स्त्री, पुत्र, मित्रों से युक्त, स्थिर स्वभाव, धन लालसा वाला होता है।

रमल ज्योतिष

रमल प्रश्न ज्योतिष वास्तव में रमल ज्योतिष भारतीय मूल का शास्त्र है। नेपोलियन प्रश्न प्रणाली का मूल स्रोत भी रमल विद्या ही है। पांडवों के दरबार में मय भी इस विद्या में प्रवीण थे। परमपूज्य आद्य शंकराचार्य भी इस शास्त्र का गहन ग्यान रखते थे। रमल शास्त्र के आधार पर ही, राजा सुधन्वा के दरबार में बंद घट में क्या रखा गया था इसका सही सही जवाब दिया था। महाराष्ट्र के परम आध्यात्मिक गुरु एवं संत महात्मा गुलवणी महाराजजी की मृत्यु किस दिन होगी, इसे एक रमलज्ञ ने पहले ही बता दिय था। महाराष्ट्र की राजनीति के नेता श्रीसुधाकरराव नाईक मुखयमंत्री बनेंगे ऐसी भविष्यवाणी भालचंद्र विद्यालय की एक छात्रा ने रमलशास्त्र की सहायता से की थी जो सही निकली। श्री नाईक जी के बाद कौन बनेगा महाराष्ट्र का मुखयमंत्री इस का सही अनुमान भी इसी शास्त्र के सहारे निकाला था। नेपोलियन प्रश्नप्रणाली का मूल स्रोत भी रमलविद्या ही है। ईस्वीसन की पहली अथवा दूसरी सदी में अन्य विद्याओं के साथ अरब इस शास्त्र को अपने देश ले गए ऐसा हिंदुओं का दावा है। इस शास्त्र का प्रसार यवन मौलवियों ने किया इसलिये इसे 'यवनीय ज्योतिष' भी कहा जाता है। इस शास्त्र के प्रचार एवं प्रसार में आदम, दानियल, लुकमान, हाकीम आदि का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा है। विश्वविजेता सिकंदर के साथ मौलवी सुरखाव हमेशा रहा करते थे। उसके अपने ज्योतिष सलाहकार मौलवी सुरखान हमेशा रहा करते थे। सिंकंदर के साथ वे भी भारत आए तब से इस शास्त्र का प्रचार प्रसार भारत में हुआ ऐसा यवनों का मानना है। जन कल्याण के लिये उपयुक्त अन्य शास्त्रों जैसा ही इस शास्त्र का उद्गम उमा-महेश्वर के द्वारा हुआ है। ऐसा माना जाता है । माता-पावर्ती ने भगवान शंकर से सर्वकालीन शास्त्रों का ज्ञान विशद करने की विनती की और इस शास्त्र का जन्म हुआ। द्वापर युग के उत्तरार्द्ध में किसी विद्वान युवक ने शिवजी की प्रखर आराधना की और शिवजी के प्रसन्न होने पर उनसे भूत, वर्तमान एवं भविष्य को जानने का ज्ञान प्राप्त होने का वरदान मांगा। शिवजी ने तब उसे 'पूर्व रचित रमल विद्या' के ज्ञान का वरदान दिया और कहा कि पृथ्वी पर इस ज्ञान के उद्गाता के रूप में तुम्हें सम्मान मिलेगा और तुम 'आदम' नाम से जाने जाओगे। यथा समय आदम के अनुयायियों ने इस विद्या का प्रचार एवं प्रसार किया। इसीलिये भारतीय इस बात का दावा करते हैं कि इस रमलविद्या का उदगम एवं इस शास्त्र का प्रसार भी यहीं पर हुआ है। पुरातन काल से पांसे इस्तेमाल होने की वजह से इसे रमलशास्त्र कहा जाता है ऐसा भी ज्ञानी लोगों का मानना है। हम भारतीयों की तरह यवन भी इस बात का दावा करते हैं कि यह शास्त्र उनके देश से ही सभी जगहों पर पहुंचा है। उनके अनुसार हजरत दानियल अल् हिस सलाम ने राजस्थान के रेगिस्तान में मुहम्मद पैगंबर की इबादत की ओर नेमते मांगी कि, '' या खुदा, भारत में इस्लाम को पुखता बनाने के लिये मुझ पर मेहर नजर कर। ऐसा इल्म दे कि जिसकी वजह से आम लोग मुझ पर बे-इंतिहा यकीन करें और मैं इस्लाम की जड़ें मजबूत कर सकूं।'' दानियल की इस प्रार्थना से खुश होकर हजरत जिब्राइल अलियस सलाम (पैगंबर के दूत) प्रगट हुए और उन्होंने दानियल को रेगिस्तान की रेती में अपने पंजों को हथेली की ओर से दबाने के लिये आज्ञा दी। उस दबास से रेती में जो आकृति निर्माण हुई उसी के गहरे अभ्यास से इस शास्त्र का निर्माण हुआ। रमल शब्द का अर्थ भी रेती है। चूंकि रेत में इस शास्त्र का निर्माण हुआ, इसलिए इसे 'रमल शास्त्र' कहा जाता है। यवन लोगों का यह दावा उनके द्वारा प्रचार एवं प्रसार करने की वजह से किया जाता है। दोनों पक्षों का विचार करने पर किस पर विश्वास जताया जाय यह मुद्दा विवादास्पद हो सकता है। सत्य कुछ भी हो हमारा मतलब तो इस शास्त्र के गहन अध्ययन से जुड़ा हैं। फिलहाल यह शास्त्र पिछड़ गया ऐसा लगता है। इसका एक महत्वपूर्ण कारण यह है कि, प्रचलित समाज में इसके बारे में फैली अफवाएं ! उदाहरण के तौर पर यह कहा जाता है कि, इस शास्त्र के आधार से यदि भविष्य बतलाया जाय तब उस व्यक्ति के वंश का नाश (निर्वेश) हो जाता हैं, उस व्यक्ति का अंत काल दुःखद हो जाता है, उसे पागलपन के झटके लगते है, ईश्वर की अवकृपा होती है एवं उसके पूरे कुटुंब कबीले को बहुत से क्लेश एवं दुख झेलने पड़ते हैं। इसवी सन् बीस के शतक के मध्य से यह शास्त्र बड़ी तेजी से पिछड़ता गया। (केवल महाराष्ट्र में ही नहीं वरन् पूरे भारत भर में मिला कर कुल सात-आठ रमल विशेषज्ञ हैं। पिछले कुछ सालों से दो-तीन ज्योतिष संस्थाओं ने यह विषय प्रचार हेतु अपनाया है। रमल कुंडली में सोलह स्थान होते हैं जबकि फलित ज्योतिष कुंडली बारह स्थानों की होती है। कुंडली का यहां मतलब 'जंत्री' होता हैं। रमल जंत्री तैयार करने की अनेक पद्धतियों में से 'पासो' को फैंक कर तैयार होने वाली जंत्री की पद्धति सर्वश्रेष्ठ आंकी गई है। 'पॉसा' तैयार करने के लिये तांबा, पीतल, चांदी, निकल, सोना, सीसा और लोहा इन सात धातु का प्रमाणित मिश्रण इस्तेमाल होता है। इन पासों को तैयार करने की विघि का प्रमाण सहित, आकार एवं खुदाई सहित ''रमल प्रवेश'' नामक पुस्तक में दर्शाया गया है। रमल शास्त्र का मूलाधार-पृथ्वी, जल, तेज और वायु-चार तत्व हैं। इन चार तत्वों, नव ग्रह, और रमल जंत्री के सोलह स्थान आदि का मेल पाकर भविष्य कथन किया जाता है। कुछ महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्नों के जवाब पाने के लिये एक बहुत ही सरल पद्धति का अवलंबन किया जाता है। जबाव अगर सही सही पाना हो तो प्रश्नकर्ता को प्रश्न भी आंतरिक सत्यता से पूछना अति आवश्यक होता है। अनुभव यही कुछ दर्शाते हैं। प्रस्तुत लेख में पासो के अलावा प्रश्न का उत्तर पाने के लिये बहुत ही आसान तरीका बताया गया है। पासों के बदले 1 से 16 अंक अलग-अलग लिखे हुए पत्तों का इस्तेमाल किया है। यह सोलह पत्ते आप ताश के पत्ताों से भी चुन सकते हैं। प्रत्येक पत्ते की एक ओर कागज चिपकाकर उस पर 1 से 16 अंक लिख लें। ताश के पत्तों के अलावा कोई भी सोलह पत्ते आप ले सकते हैं। उदाहरण सोलह व्जिीटिंग कार्डस, जिस पर 1 से 16 अंक लिखे हों। 1 से 16 अंक रमल जंत्री के सोलह स्थानों के तथा सोलह शकलों के निर्देशक हैं। जैसे अंक 1 लह्मान शकल, 2 अंक कबजतुल 3. खारीज शकल, 4 अंक जमात शकल, 5 अंक फरहा शकल, 9 अंक बयाज शकल, 5 अंक फरहा शकल, 6 अंक उकला हुमरा शकल, 9 अंक बयाज शकल, 10 अंक नुस्ततुल् खारीज शकल, 11 अंक नुस्ततुल् दाखील शकल, 12 अंक उत्पतुल खारीज शकल, 13 अंक नकी शकल, 14 अंक उत्पतुल दाखील, 15 अंक इज्जतमा शकल का, 16 अंक तारीख शकल का निर्देशक हैं। यह सोलह शकलों का विभाजन साबीन स्वरूप के चार, दाखील स्वरूप के चार, मुनाकलिब स्वरूप के चार और खारीज स्वरूप के चार शकलों में किया हैं। उसके नाम और क्रमांक - साबीत स्वरूप के चार शकल (जमात नामका शकल जिसका क्रमांक 9 है और इज्जतमा नामका शकल जिसका क्रमांक 15 है), दाखील स्वरूप के चार शकल (कबजतूल दाखील जिसका क्रमांक 2 है, अंकीश नामका शकल जिसका क्रमांक 11 है, नुस्ततुल दाखील जिसका क्रमांक 14 है) खारीज स्वरूप के चार शकल (लह्यान नामका शकल जिसका क्रमांक 1 है, कबजतूल खारीज नामका शकल जिसका क्रमांक 3 है, नुस्ततुल खारीज नामका शकल जिसका क्रमांक 10 है और उत्पतुल खारीज जिसका क्रमांक 12 है) मुनाकलीब स्वरूप के चार शकल (फरहा नामका शकल जिसका क्रमांक 5 है, उकला नामका शकल जिसका क्रमांक 13 है और तारीख नामका शकल जिसका क्रमांक 16 है। प्रश्नों का विभाजन 'आगम' और 'निर्गम' ऐसे दो हिस्सो में किया हैं। आगम स्वरूप के प्रश्नों का जबाब हां में आने के लिए 'साबीत' (जमात (4), हुमरा (8), ब्याज (9), इज्जतमा (15) ये) अथवा 'दाखील' (कबजतूल दाखील (11), उत्पतुल दाखील (14) ये) शकलों में से कोई भी एक शकल आना जरूरी है। उदाहरण के लिए नसीब में संतान सुख है या नहीं? क्या नौकरी मिलेगी? क्या मकान बनेगा? क्या नई कारकी खरीदी हो पाएगी? धनलाभ होगा? ऊर्जा मिलेगी ये प्रश्न आगम स्वरूप में आते हैं। अतः इस प्रकार के प्रश्नों का उत्तर हां में आने के लिये 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15 क्रमांकवाला कोई भी एक पत्ता आना चाहिए। 'निर्गम' स्वरूप के प्रश्नों का जवाब हां में आने के लिए खारीज (लह्यान (1) कबजतूल खारीज (3), नुस्ततुल खारीज (10) उत्पतुल खारीज (12) ये) अथवा मुनाकलीब (फरहा (5), उकला (6), नकी (13), तारीख (16) ये शकलों में से कोई भी एक शकल आना चाहिए। क्या रोग ठीक हो जाएगा? विदेश यात्रा होगी? किरायेदार मकान छोड़के जाएगा? ऋणमुक्त होने का अवसर है? ये प्रश्न निर्गम स्वरूप में आते हैं। अतः इस प्रकार के प्रश्नों का उत्तर हां में आने के लिए 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 16 क्रमांकवाला कोई भी एक पत्ता आना चाहिए। अधिक स्पष्टीकरण के लिए निम्न उदाहरण दृष्टव्य है। 1 धन का लाभ होगा क्या? इस प्रश्न का हां में उत्तर आने के लिए प्रश्न कर्ता को 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15 क्रमांकवाला कोई भी एक पत्ता निकालना जरूरी है। प्रश्न 'आगम' स्वयप का रहने से दाखील या साबीत शकलों का क्रमांक आना जरूरी है। यहां नियम के अनुसार 2, 7, 11 और 14 क्रमांक दाखील शकल के स्वरूप के है। 4, 8, 9 और 15 क्रमांक साबीत शकल के स्वरूप के है। 2. क्या बीमारी से छुटकारा मिलेगा? इस प्रश्न का 'हां' में उत्तर आने के लिए प्रश्नकर्त्ता को 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 16 क्रमांक वाला कोई भी एक पत्ता निकालना जरूरी है। प्रश्न निर्गम स्वरूप का रहने से जवाब हां में आने के लिए खारीज या मुनाकलिब शकलों का क्रमांक आना जरूरी है। यहां नियम के अनुसार 1, 3, 10 और 12 क्रमांक खारीज शकल के रूवरूप के हैं। 5, 6, 13 और 16 क्रमांक मुनाकलीब शकल क स्वरूप के हैं। प्रश्न का उत्तर पाने के लिये जातक ने (पृच्छक) सोलह पत्तों में से कोई भी एक पत्ता चुनना है। पत्ता चुनने का तरीका सोलह पत्ते फेंटकर जातक के सामने रखने के बाद, जातक उसमें का एक पत्ता चुन लेता है। अंक लिखा हुआ भाग नीचा होने से कौन सा अंक का पत्ता चुना जाता हे यह चुनने के समय मालूम नहीं होता है। पत्ता चुनने के बाद जो अंक आता है उस अंक के अनुसार उत्तर मिल जाता है। इस तरह आप किसी भी प्रश्न का उत्तर दे सकते हैं। इस भविष्य कथन में एक त्रुटि है; 'कालनिर्णय' इसमें नहीं किया जाता। जिस प्रश्न का उत्तर 'हां' या 'ना' में है उसके लिए ही यह 'रमल प्रश्न ज्योतिष' है। जिन्हें ज्योतिष नहीं आता उनके लिये तो वरदान है। वैसे भी 'रमल ज्योतिष' बहुत ही आसान है। कोई भी जिज्ञासु व्यक्ति केवल एक ही दिन में उसे सीख सकता है।

व्यापार से धन कमाने के लिये किस माध्यम से प्राप्त होने का योग है, इसके लिए कुंडली लग्न अथवा चन्द्रमा से दद्गाम में कौन सा ग्रह बलवान है। उसी ग्रह के अनुसार व्यापार से धन प्राप्त होगा। लग्न तथा दद्गाम में कौन अधिक बलवान है। जो अधिक बलवान हो उससे दद्गाम में कौन सी राद्गिा पड़ती है। उस राद्गिा का स्वामी किस नवांद्गा में बैठा है उसका स्वामी जो ग्रह होगा, उसी ग्रह से संबंधित व्यापार से धन प्राप्त होगा। इनके अतिरिक्त यह भी देख लेना चाहिये कि नौकरी अथवा व्यापार किस दिद्गाा में सफल होगा। यदि ग्रह बलबान हो तो नौकरी अथवा व्यापार से धन आसानी से प्राप्त हो जाता है। किंतु नवांद्गा का स्वामी दुर्बल हो तो थोड़े धन की प्राप्ति होती है। किस दिद्गाा में व्यापार करने से धन की प्राप्ति होगी। इसके लिए दद्गाम स्थान में जो राद्गिा है, उससे संबंधित दिद्गाा में धन की प्राप्ति होगी। यदि यह राद्गिा या नवांश राद्गिा अपने स्वामी से युत या दृष्ट हो तो जातक अपने देद्गा में रहकर कार्य व्यापार से धनोपार्जन करने में सफल रहेगा। यदि दद्गामेद्गा स्थिर नवांश में हो तो जातक अपने देद्गा में रहकर कार्य-व्यापार से धनोपार्जन करने में सफल रहता है। किन्तु दद्गाम राद्गिा या नवांद्गा राद्गिा में अपने स्वामी के साथ और भी ग्रह बैठें हो या अन्य ग्रहों से दृष्ट हों अथवा भाव का स्वामी चर राद्गिा में हो तो विदेद्गा में व्यापार से ही भाग्योदय होता है अर्थात् ऐसा जातक अपनी जन्मभूमि में कार्य-व्यापार में सफल नहीं होगा। यदि भाग्येद्गा द्विस्वभाव वाली राद्गिायों जैसे मिथुन, कन्या, धनु, और मीन में हो तो जातक कभी घर, कभी परदेद्गा में रहकर दोनों जगह से धन कमा लेता है। यह भी विचार कर लेना चाहिए कि व्यापार में साझेदारी सफल रहेगी अथवा नहीं। यदि सफल होगी तो किस राद्गिा, नक्षत्र के व्यक्ति के साथ व्यापार करना उचित होगा। कौन से ग्रह दुर्बल हैं और कैसे उनको बलबान बनाया जाये ताकि कार्य व्यापार में मनवांछित सफलता प्राप्त हो सके। कुंडली में दद्गाा, अंतर दद्गाा देख लेनी चाहिये। व्यापार हेतु चयन किये गए स्थान अथवा नया निर्माण करवा रहे हैं, तब भी यह आवद्गयक है कि उसका वास्तु निरीक्षण करा लें यदि दोष हो तो पूर्व में समाधान करा लें। यदि असमंजस में है कि नौकरी करें या व्यापार करे, किससे धन कमा सकते है तो इसके लिये कुंडली के द्वारा विवेचना करा लेनी चाहिये। और यदि किसी प्रकार की कमी या दोष नजर आते हैं, तो उनका उपाय कर लेना चाहिये। कौन ग्रह किस व्यापार से लाभ करायेगा सूर्य-नौकरी द्वारा, सरकारी सेवा से ऊनी वस्त्र, दवा, धातु, मंत्र जप, सट्टा, चालाकी ,धोखा, झूठ बोलकर या किसी सम्मानित व्यक्ति की नौकरी करने आदि से। चन्द्रमा-जल से उत्पन्न पदार्थ जैसे मोती, मछली, सिंघाड़ा, खेती से, गाय, भैंस के दूध-दही, तीर्थाटन, किसी स्त्री के आश्रय से या वस्त्र की खरीद फरोखत आदि से। मंगल-लोहा, तांबा, विविध धातु व्यापार, विद्युत उपकरण, पुलिस सेवा, फौज, डकैती, सर्राफ, रेस्टोरेन्ट, शस्त्र के द्वारा, साहस के कार्यों से , मुखबिरी या चोरी आदि से। बुध-पुस्तक लेखन, ज्योतिष, पांडित्य, वेद पाठ, लेखाकार, कम्प्यूटर, गणित, दलाली आदि से। गुरु-ब्राहणों के आश्रय से, देवालय, मठ, मंदिर, राजदरबार, धार्मिक व्याखयान, ब्याज, बैंक, व्यापार आदि। शुक्र-कंप्यूटर, दूरसंचार, फिल्म जगत, सौन्दर्य प्रसाधन, वाद्ययंत्र, महिला, नेत्री, अभिनेत्री, कविता, गीत-संगीत, भोग विलास के अन्य साधन आदि। शनि-नौकरी करें, नौकरो से काम करायें, नीच जन, दुष्टजनों से धन प्राप्त हो, रिद्गवत, अन्याय, अधर्म, लकड़ी, फर्नीचर आदि के कार्यों से।

अंक ज्योतिष का विभिन्न ज्योतिषीय विधाओं से संबंध

ब्रह्मा द्वारा रचित इस सृष्टि में सूक्ष्म से सूक्ष्मतर सभी किसी न किसी रूप में सामंजस्य रखते हैं। हमारी भारतीय आध्यात्मिक परंपराएं, अंकों के शुभ-अशुभ फलों का समन्वय जहां विश्व के अन्य धर्मों के साहित्य एवं मान्यताओं से समानता रखता है वहीं हस्त, ज्योतिष, वास्तु एवं फलित ज्योतिष सभी में अंक शास्त्र का प्रभाव देखा जा सकता है। आइए जानें अंकशास्त्र का विभिन्न ज्योतिषीय विद्याओं के साथ आपसी संबंध... हमारे ऋषि अगस्त्य, ऋषि पराशर रूपी महान वैज्ञानिकों ने हजारों वर्ष पूर्व से ही पौराणिक ग्रंथों के विवरणों तथा प्रचीन परंपराओं के इतिहास को इस भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप को विभिन्न ज्योतिषीय पद्धतियों का इन विद्याओं का केंद्र बनाया था। विश्व के प्राचीन साहित्य, पूर्व एवं वर्तमान समय के परंपराओं के इतिहास की ओर यदि दृष्टि डालें तो विभिन्न ज्योतिषीय पद्धतियों यथा फलित ज्योतिष, सामुद्रिक ज्योतिष, हस्त ज्योतिष, अंक ज्योतिष एवं वास्तु विद्यायें संपूर्ण विश्व तक केवल फैली हुई ही नहीं, वरन् इनमें आपसी तौर पर परंपरागत समानताएं भी पाई गई है। जैसे भारतीय आध्यात्मिक परंपराओं में अंक 7 को शुभ माना जाना, 7 वार, 7 चक्र, 7 दिन, विवाह में अग्नि के 7 फेरे, 7 द्वीप (सप्त द्वीप), 7 पाताल। इसी भांति यहूदियों की धार्मिक परंपराओं में भी अंक 7 की महत्ता तथा 7ग7त्र49 की संख्या को भी काफी प्रभावशाली माना जाता है। अंकशास्त्र की यह विद्या मूलांक, भाग्यांक एवं नामांक जैसी तीन पद्धतियों में प्रचलित है। सदियों से मानव जाति का स्वभाव ऐसा रहा है कि वह प्रत्येक बार कुछ नया जानना चाहता है। आसानी से प्रत्येक मनुष्य संतुष्ट नहीं होता। मनोवैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण से विश्लेषण करने पर यह ज्ञात होता है कि मानव की उपर्युक्त जिज्ञासा ने ही उसे ज्योतिष शास्त्रों के विभिन्न विद्याओं के गंभीर रहस्योद्घाटन के लिए प्रवृत्त किया है। इस शास्त्र की परिभाषा समय-समय पर विभिन्न रूपों में मानी जाती रही है। समय के साथ-साथ यह परिभाषा और अधिक विकसित होती गई। नक्षत्रों की आकृति, स्वरूप, गुण एवं प्रभाव का परिज्ञान प्राप्त करना ज्योतिष माना जाने लगा। आदि काल में नक्षत्रों के शुभाशुभ फलानुसार कार्यों का विवेचन एवं ऋतु, अयन, दिनमान लग्नादि शुभाशुभ अनुसार विधायक कार्यों को करने का ज्ञान प्राप्त करना भी इस शास्त्र की परिभाषा में परिणित हो गया। सूर्य प्रज्ञप्ति, ज्योतिष करण्यक, वेदांग ज्योतिष, हस्त ज्योतिष, अंक ज्योतिष, प्रश्न ज्योतिष आदि। प्रभृति ग्रंथों के प्रणयन तक ज्योतिष के गणित और फलित ये दो भेद स्पष्ट नहीं हुए थे और ये परिभाषायें केवल यहीं तक सीमित नहीं रहीं, अपितु ज्ञानोन्नति के साथ-साथ विकसित हुई। राशि और ग्रहों के स्वरूप, रंग, दिशा, तत्व, धातु आदि के विवेचन भी इसके अंतर्गत आ गये। समय के साथ-साथ इस विषय के अनेकों गं्रंथ हाथों में आये। होरा ग्रंथों में जातक के जन्म नक्षत्रों, जन्म लग्नादि व द्वादश भावों के बारे में ज्ञान हुआ, मध्य युग में संहिताओं की परिभाषा, होरा, गणित और शकुन-अपशकुन के रूप मंें मानी गई। किंतु संहिता शास्त्र का जन्म आदिकाल से ही हुआ था जिसकी परिभाषाओं का क्षेत्र उत्तरोत्तर बढ़ता ही गया। इसी भांति प्रश्नशास्त्र, तत्काल फल बतानेवाला शास्त्र साबित हुआ। ऋग्वेद संहिता में ‘चक्र’ शब्द सामने आया जो राशि चक्र का बोधक है। इसी भांति उत्तरोत्तर ज्योतिष शास्त्र की कई शाखाएं विकसित होती गई जैसे सामुद्रिक शास्त्र, प्रश्नशास्त्र, अंक शास्त्र, लाल किताब, संहितादि। फलित ज्योतिष के साथ-साथ धीरे-धीरे अधिकांश विद्वानों का ध्यान बहुत प्राचीनकाल से ही सामुद्रिक शास्त्र, अंकशास्त्र और वास्तुशास्त्र के समानताओं की ओर गया और इन पर उन्होंने अनेकानेक शोध किये और इस निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचे कि ”किसी भी परिणाम का प्रारंभ और अंत अंक ही है। अंक शास्त्र से यह जाना जा सकता है कि जातक/जातिका के लिए भूत, भविष्य, वर्तमान समय में क्या कुछ उनके जीवन में घटित हुआ, हो रहा है और होगा ? अंक ज्योतिष का वर्तमान रूप पाश्चात्य सभ्यता की देन है, जिसके अंतर्गत इस्वी सन की तारीख से मूलांक, तारीख, माह, और सन के अलग-अलग अंकों के योग के संपूर्ण योग से भाग्यांक और अंग्रेजी के अक्षरों के अंकों को जोड़कर नामांक ज्ञात कर फलादेश किया जाता है। इनमें विभिन्न विद्वानों के नामांक अंक कुछ भिन्न हैं। कुछ आधुनिक विद्वानों ने सामुद्रिक शास्त्रानुसार कई जातक/जातिकाओं के हाथों की रेखाओं व विभिन्न ग्रहों के पर्वतों का अध्ययन कर उनके मूलांक, भाग्यांक एवं नामांक का विश्लेषण कर इस निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचे कि किस अंक से कौन-कौन अंक प्रभावित हैं ? उनके तथ्यों के आधार पर मैंने भी कुछ जातक/जातिकाओं के हस्तरेखाओं एवं विभिन्न ग्रहों के पर्वतों का अध्ययन कर उनके मूलांक/भाग्यांक /नामांक का विश्लेषण कर इस निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचा कि अंकशास्त्र, सामुद्रिक शास्त्र एवं उनके घर के वास्तु सामंजस्य संबंधी फलादेश में बहुत ही समानताएं हैं और खास करके उनके करियर निर्धारण संबंधी फलादेश में भी बहुत सी समानताएं हैं। अंकशास्त्र, सामुद्रिक शास्त्र एवं वास्तुशास्त्र में समानताएं अंकशास्त्र, हस्तरेखा शास्त्र एवं वास्तु शास्त्र के आधार पर विभिन्न मूलांकों के जातक/जातिकाओं का तुलनात्मक अध्ययन निम्नानुसार प्रस्तुत कर रहा हूं। सुविज्ञ पाठक/साधक/विद्वान इसका अध्ययन कर अपनी-अपनी हस्तरेखाओं व मूलांक/भाग्यांक/नामांक, निर्धारण कर अपने वर्तमान एवं भविष्य को सुधार 9, 4 पति-पत्नी शत्रु अंक: 6, 8 यदि किसी जातक की हथेली में सूर्य पर्वत व सूर्य रेखा साफ सुथरी हो और उसकी संख्या एक से अधिक हो, सूर्य रेखा, भाग्य रेखा या जीवन रेखा में विलीन हो रही हो तो वह जातक/जातिका सूर्य प्रधान होता है। ऐसे जातक/ जातिकाओं का जन्म अवश्य ही 1, 10, 19 या 28 तारीख को हुआ होता है। सूर्य रेखा पर छोटा वृत्त या साफ-सुथरा त्रिभुज हो व उसके नीचे साफ-सुथरी सूर्य रेखा हो तो भी ऐसे जातक का सूर्य बहुत सशक्त होता है। वास्तुशास्त्र के अनुसार ऐसे जातक के गृह आवास के शुभ रंग सुनहरे, पीलीे एवं तांबाई सुनहरे, भूरे रंग से संबंधित होते हैं। ऐसे लोग अत्यधिक मेहनती होते हैं। ये सरकारी नौकरी, राजनीति, समाज सेवा आदि क्षेत्रों में उन्नति करते हैं। मूलांक 2 तारीख: 2, 11, 20, 29, मित्र अंक: 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9 सम अंक: 3, 8 शत्रु अंक: 5 पति-पत्नी मित्र अंक: 5, 6, 8 पति-पत्नी सम अंक: 1, 4 पति-पत्नी शत्रु अंक: 7, 9 यदि किसी जातक की हथेली में चंद्र पर्वत उत्तम हो, उस पर कटाव न होकर आड़ी रेखाएं हों व साफ सुथरी हों तो ऐसे जातक/जातिकाओं के जन्म अवश्य ही 8, 11, 20 या 29 तारीख को हुआ होता है। वास्तुशास्त्र के अनुसार ऐसे जातक के गृह आवास के शुभ रंग हल्के से गहरे, हरे, सफेद व क्रीम रंग से संबंधित होते हैं। ऐसे व्यक्ति विशिष्ट कल्पना शक्ति संपन्न होते हैं। ये अधिकांशतः आर्किटेक्ट, डिजाइनर व ऐसे लोगों का जन्म अवश्य ही 3, 12, 21 या 30 तारीख को हुआ होता है। धन, शिक्षा एवं आय के साधन ऐसे लोगों को प्रचुर मात्रा में प्राप्त होते हैं। वास्तु शास्त्रानुसार ऐसे जातक के गृह आवास के शुभ रंग-पीले, परपल, गुलाबी और जामुनी रंगों से संबंधित होते हैं। ऐसे लोगों में बचपन से ही नेतृत्व करने की क्षमताएं होती है। ये मरते दम तक सामाजिक कार्यों में लगे रहते हैं। साहस, शक्ति, दृढ़ता और आत्मविश्वास आदि के ये धनी होते हैं। ऐसे लोग अपने परिवारों मित्रों व स्वजनों की सहायता करने में अग्रणी होते हैं। अपनी विलक्षण प्रभाव क्षमता से ये शत्रु को भी अपना मित्र बना लेते हैं। मूलांक 4 तारीख: 4, 13, 22, 31, मित्र कटाव न हो, शनि पर्वत के नीचे हृदय रेखा व मस्तिष्क रेखा के नीचे का राहु पर्वत उच्च हो, उस पर्वत पर कोई भी दोष न हो या उस पर त्रिभुज या चतुष्कोण हो तो ऐसे जातकों का जन्म अवश्य ही 4, 13, 22, 31 तारीख को हुआ होता है। वास्तुशास्त्रानुसार ऐसे जातक एवं उनके गृह आवास के शुभ रंग स्लेटी व हल्का नीला रंग लिए हुए से संबंधित होते हैं। ऐसे जातक/जातिकाएं अपने जीवन काल में अनैतिक रूप से धन अधिक कमाते हैं। ऐसे बहुत ही कम अवसर आते हैं जिनमें कभी कभार ही नैतिक कर्मों द्वारा धनार्जन करते हों। ये अपने जीवन काल में संघर्षशील रहते हैं। ये अत्यधिक आधुनिक विचारधाराओं वाले, पुरानी प्रथाओं के विरोधी, हर बात को विपरीत निगाह से देखने वाले, झगड़ालू प्रवृत्ति के न होने के बावजूद भी ये बहुतों को शत्रु बना लेने की प्रवृत्ति वाले, भिखारी से करोड़ पति या करोड़पति से भिखारी बनने संबंधी स्थिति वाले होते हैं। मूलांक 5 तारीख: 5, 14, 23 मित्र अंक: 3 सम अंक: 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 शत्रु अंक: 1, 2, 5 पति-पत्नी मित्र अंक: 1, 4, 3 पति-पत्नी सम अंक: 2, 7, 6 पति-पत्नी शत्रु अंक: 8, 9 यदि किसी जातक/जातिका की हथेली में बुध पर्वत की स्थिति अच्छी हो, उस पर सीधी रेखाएं हों, बुध की अंगुली सीधी हो उस क्षेत्र पर कटाव या जाल न हो तो जातक/जातिका की वाकशक्ति, बुद्धिमता, तर्कशक्ति बहुत अच्छी होती है ऐसे लोगों का जन्म अवश्य ही 5, 14 एवं 23 तारीख को हुआ होता है। वास्तुशास्त्रानुसार ऐसे लोगों व उनके गृह आवास के शुभ रंग सफेद स्लेटी और सभी रंगों के हल्के शेड से संबंधित रंग होते हैं। शुभ लक्षणों से युक्त ऐसे लोगों की वाणी बहुत मीठी होती है। ऐसे लोग ज्ञानी, आजीवन मित्रता निभाने वाले, कल्पनाशील, सूझबूझ वाले व हमेशा तनावग्रस्त रहने वाले होते हैं। ऐसे लोग शारीरिक श्र्रम की अपेक्षा मानसिक श्रम अधिक करते हैं। धनोपार्जन के लिए ऐसे लोग कई बार अपना व्यवसाय बदलते रहते हैं। ये शत्रुता तो नहीं करते लेकिन यदि कोई इनसे दुश्मनी करता है तो ये उनका विनाश अवश्य कर डालते हैं। मूलांक 6 तारीख: 6, 15, 24 मित्र अंक: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9 सम अंक: 5, 7, 8 पति-पत्नी मित्र अंक: 3 पति-पत्नी सम अंक: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 पति-पत्नी शत्रु अंक: 9 यदि किसी जातक/जातिका के हथेली में शुक्र पर्वत साफ सुथरा, उभार लिए हुए या उसको जीवन रेखा पूर्ण रूप से घेरती हो, उस पर मोटी-मोटी रेखाएं न हों, जीवन रेखा एवं मंगल रेखा भी साफ सुथरी हों तो ऐसे लोगों का जन्म अवश्य ही 6, 15, 24 तारीख को हुआ होता है। वास्तु शास्त्रानुसार ऐसे लोगों व उनके गृह आवास के शुभ रंग हल्के गहरे नीले व गुलाबी हैं। ऐसे लोगों को धन प्राप्ति के कई साधन जीवन में मिलते रहते हैं। ये रोमांटिक, शांत, ईमानदार, तेज बुद्धि, धनी, निडर, प्रेमी, ऐश्वर्य संपन्न, कामुक, कला के शौकीन, हंसमुख आदि गुणों से संपन्न होते हैं। इनके ही गुणों के अनुकूल नायक/नायिका, गायक/गायिका, चित्रकार आदि होते हैं। मूलांक 7 तारीख: 7, 16, 25 मित्र अंक: 1, 7, 9 सम अंक: 3, 5, 8 पति-पत्नी मित्र अंक: 3, 5, 6, 8 पति-पत्नी सम अंक: 1, 4 पति-पत्नी शत्रु अंक: 2, 9 यदि किसी जातक/जातिका की हथेली में केतु पर्वत उभार लिए हुए हों, साफ सुथरा हो, भाग्य रेखा जीवन रेखा से दूर हो व साफ हो तो ऐसे लोगों का जन्म अवश्य ही 7, 16, 25 तारीख को हुआ होता है। ऐसे लोगों की हथेली में अशुभ लक्षण भी हों तो भी वे कभी भी धन वैभव मान सम्मान प्राप्त करते रहते हैं। किंतु वे बुद्धि आदि का सही उपयोग नहीं कर पाते। ऐसे लोगों को केतु के उपाय अवश्य करनी चाहिए। ऐसे लोग अपनी सबसे अलग पहचान बनाने में सफल होते हैं। ये प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की राज जानने की कला में निपुण होते हैं। ऐसे लोग योजना से जुड़े क्षेत्र, कला या चित्रकला आदि में भी नाम अर्जित करते देखे जाते हैं। वास्तुशास्त्रानुसार ऐसे जातक एवं उनके गृह आवास के शुभ रंग हरा, पीला, सफेद रंग से संबंधित होते हैं। ऐसे व्यक्तित्व के लोग पत्रकारिता, अभिनय, प्लास्टिक, खेल कार्य, चिकित्सा, पर्यटन, औषधि, खनिज आदि से आपके साथ विश्वासघात क्यूँ????? जाने कुंडली से

Spirituality of rahu and ketu

Western view of Rahu/Ketu : It is well known in Western Astrology that the North Node of the Moon (Rahu) represents a spiritual target, soul’s mission to accomplish in this life. It is the direction of evolution. It is therefore spiritual.
The South Node of the Moon (Ketu), on the other hand represents an accumulation of experiences from past lives, a charted territory that we are familiar with and find it attractive and there is the tendency of sticking to it and refusing the evolution through new experiences and challenges. Vedic Astrology on Rahu & Ketu : The Vedic Astrology has very different view on things: it considers as materialistic the North Node (Rahu) which is mitologically associated with the dragon’s huge head, breathing fire through its nostrils, and using its wide, open mouth to eat voraciously, gobble and control. Disconnected from the rest of its body, the dragon’s head, or North Node, obviously has no mechanism for feeling (heart), digesting (stomach), or eliminating (colon), thus holding on to everything as tightly as it can. With a propensity for devouring everything in sight, Rahu is materialistic, greedy, potentially ruthless, controlling, and manipulative.
On the other hand, the South Node (Ketu) is highly inspiring and creative, but it can be equally destructive and obliterating. As the dragon’s tail without the head, the South Node desires total freedom, and yet there is no conscience, nor is there any logic or reasoning power. At its best, it is highly instinctual, sensual, creative and spiritual.
The necessary reconciliation for Rahu & Ketu : Can these two different views be conciliated ? In reaching this ideal, it is important to remind the two philosophic and religious backgrounds that generated these differences in understanding the same astrological elements: the Western civilization, under the influence of the Christianity consideres as spiritual the higher impulses of a person, and in its aspiration to the Divinity rejects the sexuality or the material prosperity. That’s why the chastity is so highly valued by the priests and monks, that’s why the angels are represented always as children without a defined sex. Stable Marital life: Astrological aspects

Before marriage an astrologer is consulted for analysis of the horoscopes of boy and the girl who are about to get married. It is done to ensure harmonious, balanced and healthy relationship between husband and wife. If we compare the success rate of marriages now a days as compared to older times say for example during the last 50 or 100 years and more especially in modern society, we will find out that the percentage is decreasing drastically. Some would attribute this to increasing ego problems and a feeling of independence in human beings especially women. Gradually, many people started neglecting the given principles and many young people started marrying their lovers without getting their charts checked from a good astrologer. More and more people are consulting good astrologers for match making and usually it is done by referring to Melapak Chart given in any Panchang. This Melapak chart is calculated on the basis of eight factors. These eight factors are known as Ashtakoota and considered in order to judge the stability of married life for the couple. There is one other important factor which is equally important and we call it promise of healthy and stable married life in the horoscope. If this promise in a given horoscope is weak in that case Ashtakoota Milan results into a futile exercise. So, for the health and future of married life promise of stable married life should also be assessed in the horoscope. There are horoscopes in which the probability of marriage is not indicated or else strong indications of failure of marriage are there. For these horoscopes the perfect ashtakoota and manglik dosa matching can not help to ensure the happiness in marriage because basically the destiny to enjoy marital happiness in these horoscopes is missing. Therefore, here we shall discuss few combinations which are necessary for marital happiness and for the stability of married life. In male’s horoscope Venus is the chief Karaka of married life. The ideal placement for Venus is in Lagna in an auspicious sign. The other good condition which can promise a faithful wife is placement of powerful Jupiter in 7th house. In girl’s horoscope Jupiter is the chief Karaka of marital happiness and the ideal placement for happy married life is considered to be in first house, similarly Venus should be placed in its own rashi or navansha, in exalted rashi or navansha or in a friendly sign in 7th house. The placement of Jupiter and Venus both in 7th house is considered extremely auspicious for happy married life. In addition to these conditions the placement of 7th lord can not be overlooked. 7th lord should not be combust or in debilitation and should be placed in any Kendra aspected by benefic planet, should be in its exalted rashi or navansha. It should not be afflicted by conjunction or aspect of any malefic planet. 7th lord should not be placed in 6th, 8th, or 12th house and it shouldn’t be hemmed between malefic planets. It has been observed that Mars also plays a crucial role in married life. Sometimes it ruins the married life specially when it is in debilitation and aspects the 7th lord or 7th house. Further the placement of malefic planets in 7th house specially when they are in debilitation ruin the married life. The aspect of malefic planets on 7th house can also ruin the married life specially if the position of Jupiter, Venus and 7th lord is also bad in chart. One other blow to the married life can come from Manglik Dosa therefore astrologers always recommend that following three factors should be given prime importance. 1. Promise of marital happiness 2. Ashtakoota matching. 3. Manglik Dosa matching. It has been observed that in spite of having all positive factors the married life fails. According to scholars of astrology the main reason for it can be the debilitation of Saturn in Navamsha chart because Saturn is the star of stability and balance in our life and Navamsha is the most important divisional chart for assessing married life therefore debilitation of Saturn in Navamsha chart kills the stability of married life in spite of having positive promises in the birth chart for one’s married life. This is considered a very big negative factor. For the success and failure of one’s married life the horoscope of both husband and wife play equally important role. If all the positive factors are there in the charts of both then chances of success of marriage get increased if Manglik dosa matching and Ashtakoota guna matching is also done under expert astrological guidance. If 7th lord and 7th house in one’s birth chart have enough strength and the majority of planets specially Saturn, Jupiter and Venus are exalted in Navamsha chart the stability of married life remains intact. Example horoscope In Lata Mangeshkar’s chart 7th lord is in 6th house and Saturn is in debilitated Navamsha. She did not marry. Illustration 2 In the above horoscope Saturn is in debilitated Navamsha therefore Jupiter in 7th house failed to protect the marriage. Marriage continued only for one year. Illustration 3 In this chart Venus and Jupiter are properly placed but aspect of Rahu, Saturn and Mars on 7th house is ruining the health of wife. If there is mutual exchange in the houses of Mars and Venus in Navamsha i.e. if Mars is in the Navamsha of Venus and Venus is in the Navamsha of Mars the husband and wife both commit adultery. Sometimes marital happiness is promised in one chart but denied in wife’s horoscope, this indication is not enough for a good match. If marital happiness is indicated in both charts it can result in happy and stable married life specially if Ashtakoota and Manglik dosa is also not there. In some horoscopes there is indication of polygamous tendency and multiple relations. Because of such yogas which can cause probabilities of multiple relations the person becomes over passionate and gets involved in more than one relation and as a result fails to maintain healthy relationship with spoue. Colours, ayurveda and astrology

The planets project the basic energies operating in the solar system. These energies influence the human body and mind on all levels. The astrological chart has the capacity to indicate good or ill health, strong or weak vitality, emotional stability, intellectual soundness besides many other things. The ancient sages of India knew the close relationship between the nature and mankind, and thus developed a system of health called Ayurveda which is completely based on the laws of nature. Vedic astrology contains a medicine system which is based on Ayurveda, whereas Ayurveda contains a system of timing of disease and its treatment based on Vedic Astrology. For example, Mars is a hot planet and can cause fiery or Pitta disorders like fevers, inflammation, injuries etc. this can be encountered by cooling herbs, cool climate, special gems and mantras for the planet etc. according to the individual chart. Ayurveda classifies our life energies into three biological forces or doshas – Vata, Pitta and Kapha. These three doshas are modifications of the five great elements or the Panch Mahabhuta – Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether. Vata Vata is cold, dry, and mobile like wind/air. It is held in the spaces in the body like bones, joints, nerves and the mind. It creates the Nervous System and is as such related to Mercury in astrology. As an emotional force on the negative side, it creates fear and anxiety. It also governs decline, decay and death as in old age, sunset and winter season thus relating it to Saturn. On the positive side it gives creativity and adaptability again related to Mercury astrologically. Pitta Pitta is hot and light like Fire. It is held in enzymes which are the main component of Digestive System. This relates it to Sun in astrology. As an emotional force, on the negative side it gives anger and animosity thus relating it to Mars. On the positive side it gives insight, courage and personal warmth which again relates to Sun. It governs the adult life, noon and summer season. Kapha Kapha is cold, damp, heavy and immobile like water in an enclosed area. It has the earthy qualities of heaviness, density and obstruction. It makes up the bulk of bodily tissues like muscles, skin, hair and water (blood, plasma, fat). These are mainly related to the Moon. As an emotional force on the negative side, it creates attachment, greed and stagnation relating it to Moon. On the positive side, it creates love, faith and loyalty thus related to Venus. When Vata is imbalanced in the body, planets like Saturn, Rahu and Mercury predominate. When Kapha is too high in the body, planets like the Moon, Jupiter and Venus predominate. When Pitta is too high, planets like Sun, Mars and Ketu predominate. Therefore, when a disease is caused due to imbalance of any or more than one of these doshas, appropriate remedies for the concerned planets will immensely help. Colour Therapy Vedic astrology has various means of remedies like Gems, Mantras, Herbs, Yantras and various spiritual practices. Among these, Gem therapy is the most important. It is entirely based on colour therapy. Each planet relates to a certain colour of the cosmic rays. The influence of each planet can be increased by exposure to its corresponding colour and vice versa. Colour therapy is particularly good for targeting emotional and psychological imbalances, but can be used for physical diseases as well. Many fiery Pitta disorders like inflammation and infection can be reduced by usage of cooling colours like blue, green and white. The light from the Sun is made up of a spectrum of colours famously known as the VIBGYOR. It is the very basis of colour therapy prescribed in our scriptures. Traditionally, the colours associated with the planets are: Sun – Red (Transparent) Moon – White (Opaque) Mars – Red (Opaque) Mercury – Green Jupiter – Yellow Venus – White (Transparent) Saturn – Blue Rahu is smoky or black and Ketu is a bright red or orange. Rahu has a shadowy effect whereas Ketu produces a strange illumination around things. Generally pure shades of different colours will increase the higher influences of the planets, while coarse shades will increase their negativity. For example, dark colours like black or gray will increase the negative side of Saturn, while deep blue will increase its positive energy. Astrologically, we gravitate towards the colours of the planets that dominate us, which can be negative. For example, those under the influence of dark planets like Saturn and Rahu tend to live in dark places and wear dark clothes which increase the malefic powers of these planets. To counter this, they should live in a bright environment and wear bright colours. Those under the influence of hot planets like Sun, Mars and Ketu should avoid too much bright colour and light. The colour therapy can be used to increase the power of weak planets that are benefic in nature for the individual. To increase the Venus energy for example, bright and rainbow colour s are good; for Saturn – dark blue, Jupiter – yellow or gold, for soothing and calming lunar energy – white works very well. Methods of Colour Therapy 1. Increase exposure to the planet’s colour in your environment. For example, colours of the walls in home and office, clothes, pictures, flowers etc. 2. Using coloured lights to bathe the body with the help of special coloured lamps. 3. Meditation on particular colours and internal visualization. 4. Gem Therapy Gem Therapy Gemstones are most important remedial measures used in Vedic astrology. Gems are like fragments of planetary light on Earth and work on etheric plane balancing our energy field. Always remember, wrongly prescribed gems can cause disharmonies, excesses or imbalances. Effects of various gemstones: Ruby - Sun Physically – Ruby increases Pitta and decreases Kapha and Vata. It improves vitality, digestion and circulation, functions of heart, small intestine, brain and eyes. It improves meditation, promotes self knowledge and helps connect with the consciousness within. Pearl - Moon Physically – Pearl increases Kapha and decreases Pitta and Vata.
