People are scared to learn that their child has been borne in Ganda Mool. They feel some kind of calamity would befall, on the family in near future if shanti pooja is not done on 27th day of the birth. Therefore those who consult an astrologer for birth horoscope would invariably go for 'shanti'. In the past when parents were not so particular about horosocpe of the newly born, would obviously not perform Ganda Mool shanti. Astrologers, on their part, would always recommend for 'Mool Shanti' even if the nakshatra charan 'phala' is found to be positive. Even when examining the horoscope of an elder person, Ganda Mool nakshatra comes to the notice of the astrologer, generally the astrologer would blame the Ganda Mool nakshatra for all the problems faced by the native and recommend for Mool shanti. Thus Ganda Mool nakshatra is treated at par with other doshas like Kaal Sarpa, Pitri, 'Dhaiyya' or 'Sadhesati' of shani, Manglik doshas etc. Ganda Mool Shanti should be performed upto 27 months or maximum 7 years age of the child, thereafter it is irrelevent. Birth Nakshatra is part of the Panchang In astrology five parameters of Panchang are applied to assess the auspiciousness or otherwise of any event. This is extensively used in forecasting of Muhurta time for any important event of life. The birth of a person is the most important happening of his life. The configuration of planets at birth time form the horoscope from which we can decipher the quality of one's entire life, the good and bad periods of life, health, longevity, educational and professional field, financial position, family relations etc. In fact astrology enables us to reply to any query raised by the native about any aspect of life. The birth time horoscope is equivalent to the seed of a plant which contains all the information about the sprouting of the seed, the size and colours of its branches, leaves, flowers, fruits, the blooming time, its utilities as a gift of nature. The five parameters of Panchang are : 1. Tithi, 2. Vaar, 3. Nakshatra, 4. Yoga, 5. Karan Thus birth nakshatra is one of the five consttituents of Panchang. It is the nakshatra of the Moon at the time of birth. Every component of the Panchang is important. There are good tithis and bad tithis. Apart from rikta tithis, chaturdashi and amavasyas are considered inauspicious in krishna paksha. Among the Vaars, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday are not auspicious. There are ten yogas, out of 27, which are supposed to be inauspicious. Among the Karans, Vishti Karan or Bhadra is highly inauspicious while sthir karans such as Shakuni, Chatuspada, Naag and Kinstughna are also not so auspicious. Similarly among the nakshatras, six nakshatras out of twenty seven, are supposed to be inauspicious. Three of these viz. Ashwini, Magha and Mool belong to Ketu and another three viz. Ashlesha, Jyeshtha and Revati belong to planet Mercury. These six nakshatras are referred to as Ganda Mool nakshatras. In our opinion, Birth Nakshatra is the most important constitutent of the birth time panchang. Moon in astrology is as important as the ascendant. Moon's rashi is called the birth or Janma rashi of the native. Moon's nakshatra is the basis for calculating the dasha cycle of the native because the first Vimshottari dasha belongs to the lord of the Moon's nakshatra. In muhurta calculations, the Moon's rashi of the person is taken into consideration. Again for studying the impact of transiting planets, Moon's rashi is taken as the lagna and accordingly the auspicious houses of the planets are decided. In this way Moon's nakshatra is highly important factor to influence the life of the native. Gandanta time is inauspicious 'Ganda' in Sanskrit language is the 'Sandhi' time or the knot tied between two important parameters of time for connecting one to the other. As a knot, to tie two pieces of thread, is a weak spot, similarly Gandanta time is a weak link between two astrologically important factors. Brihat parashar Horashashtra has mentioned three types of Gandanta in chapter 94 under "Gandanta Lakshan." Thus according to sage Parashar, Tithi, Nakshatra and Lagna are three types of Gandanta which are inauspicious like death at the time of birth, travel or marriage like ceremonies. The two ghati of end of Revati and beginning of Ashwini, Ashlesha end and beginning of Magha, Jyeshtha end and Mool's beginning, thus Nakshatra Gandanta is of 4 ghatis between three pairs of Ganda Mool nakshatras. Half a ghati each of Meena-Mesh, Karka-Singh, Vrishchika-Dhanu, thus one ghati of these three pairs of lagnas form Lagna Gandanta. We can find from the above that lagna Gandantas also specify the same nakshatra pair as contained in Nakshatra-Gandanta. The ghati represents 24 minutes of time. We also find that all kinds of Sandhi kaal or transitional periods are considered troublesome, confusing and destructive. The concept of Gandanta is extended to Sun's sankranti (ingress into next rashi), Bhava-Sandhi, Dasha-Sandhi, Sandhya time in early morning and Sun's setting time in evening. These are supposed to be delicate and sensitive times. Any event happening at transition time can cause havoc in the life of the concerned person. We all know when one Ritu or season ends and the other begins e.g. summer-rainy, autumn-winter, winter-spring etc. the immune system is weak and is challenged by seasonal change. Ganda Mool Nakshatras The names of the six Ganda Mool nakshatras with their serial numbers are : 1 Ashwini, 27 Revati, 10 Magha, 9 Ashlesha, 19 Mool, 18 Jyeshtha While Ashwini, Magha and Mool belong to Ketu and fall at the beginning of Mesh, Simha and Dhanu rashis (all Agni tatwa rashis), Revati, Ashlesha and Jyeshtha belong to Mercury and fall at the end of Meena, Karka and Vrishchika rashis (all Jal tattwa rashis). Thus we note that the sandhi or joining point of these three pairs of nakshatras also happens to be the joining point of two mutually contradictory elements of fire and water. दीपावली पूजन विधि
दीपावली:
दीपावली का अर्थ है दीपों की पंक्ति। दीपावली शब्द 'दीप एवं 'आवली की संधि से बना है। आवली अर्थात पंक्ति, इस प्रकार दीपावली शब्द का अर्थ है, दीपों की पंक्ति। भारतवर्ष में मनाए जाने वाले सभी त्यौहारों में दीपावली का सामाजिक और धार्मिक दोनों दृष्टि से अत्यधिक महत्व है। इसे दीपोत्सव भी कहते हैं। 'तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय अर्थात् 'अंधेरे से ज्योति अर्थात प्रकाश की ओर जाइए यह उपनिषदों की आज्ञा है। इसे सिख, बौद्ध तथा जैन धर्म के लोग भी मनाते हैं। माना जाता है कि दीपावली के दिन अयोध्या के राजा श्री रामचंद्र अपने चौदह वर्ष के वनवास के पश्चात लौटे थे। अयोध्यावासियों का ह्रदय अपने परम प्रिय राजा के आगमन से उल्लसित था। श्री राम के स्वागत में अयोध्यावासियों ने घी के दीए जलाए। कार्तिक मास की सघन काली अमावस्या की वह रात्रि दीयों की रोशनी से जगमगा उठी। तब से आज तक भारतीय प्रति वर्ष यह प्रकाश-पर्व हर्ष व उल्लास से मनाते हैं। यह पर्व अधिकतर ग्रिगेरियन कैलन्डर के अनुसार अक्तूबर या नवंबर महीने में पड़ता है। दीपावली दीपों का त्योहार है। इसे दीवाली या दीपावली भी कहते हैं। दीवाली अँधेरे से रोशनी में जाने का प्रतीक है। भारतीयों का विश्वास है कि सत्य की सदा जीत होती है झूठ का नाश होता है। दीवाली यही चरितार्थ करती है- असतो माऽ सद्गमय, तमसो माऽ ज्योतिर्गमय। दीपावली स्वच्छता व प्रकाश का पर्व है। कई सप्ताह पूर्व ही दीपावली की तैयारियाँ आरंभ हो जाती है। लोग अपने घरों, दुकानों आदि की सफाई का कार्य आरंभ कर देते हैं। घरों में मरम्मत, रंग-रोगन,सफ़ेदी आदि का कार्य होने लगता हैं। लोग दुकानों को भी साफ़ सुथरा का सजाते हैं। बाज़ारों में गलियों को भी सुनहरी झंडियों से सजाया जाता है। दीपावली से पहले ही घर-मोहल्ले, बाज़ार सब साफ-सुथरे व सजे-धजे नजऱ आते हैं।
इस दिन घरों में सुबह से ही तरह-तरह के पकवान बनाए जाते हैं। बाज़ारों में खील-बताशे, मिठाइयाँ, खांड़ के खिलौने, लक्ष्मी-गणेश आदि की मूर्तियाँ बिकने लगती हैं। स्थान-स्थान पर आतिशबाजी और पटाखों की दूकानें सजी होती हैं। सुबह से ही लोग रिश्तेदारों, मित्रों, सगे-संबंधियों के घर मिठाइयाँ व उपहार बाँटने लगते हैं। दीपावली की शाम लक्ष्मी और गणेश जी की पूजा की जाती है। पूजा के बाद लोग अपने-अपने घरों के बाहर दीपक व मोमबत्तियाँ जलाकर रखते हैं। चारों ओर चमकते दीपक अत्यंत सुंदर दिखाई देते हैं। रंग-बिरंगे बिजली के बल्बों से बाज़ार व गलियाँ जगमगा उठते हैं। बच्चे तरह-तरह के पटाखों व आतिशबाजिय़ों का आनंद लेते हैं। रंग-बिरंगी फुलझडिय़ाँ, आतिशबाजिय़ाँ व अनारों के जलने का आनंद प्रत्येक आयु के लोग लेते हैं। देर रात तक कार्तिक की अँधेरी रात पूर्णिमा से भी से भी अधिक प्रकाशयुक्त दिखाई पड़ती है। दीपावली से अगले दिन गोवर्धन पर्वत अपनी अँगुली पर उठाकर इंद्र के कोप से डूबते ब्रजवासियों को बनाया था। इसी दिन लोग अपने गाय-बैलों को सजाते हैं तथा गोबर का पर्वत बनाकर पूजा करते हैं। अगले दिन भाई दूज का पर्व होता है। दीपावली के दूसरे दिन व्यापारी अपने पुराने बहीखाते बदल देते हैं। वे दूकानों पर लक्ष्मी पूजन करते हैं। उनका मानना है कि ऐसा करने से धन की देवी लक्ष्मी की उन पर विशेष अनुकंपा रहेगी। कृषक वर्ग के लिये इस पर्व का विशेष महत्त्व है। खरीफ़ की फसल पक कर तैयार हो जाने से कृषकों के खलिहान समृद्ध हो जाते हैं। कृषक समाज अपनी समृद्धि का यह पर्व उल्लासपूर्वक मनाता हैं।
दीपावली यानी धन और समृद्धि का त्यौहार. इस त्यौहार में गणेश और माता लक्ष्मी के साथ ही साथ धनाधिपति भगवान कुबेर, सरस्वती और काली माता की भी पूजा की जाती है. सरस्वती और काली भी माता लक्ष्मी के ही सात्विक और तामसिक रूप हैं. जब सरस्वती, लक्ष्मी और काली एक होती हैं तब महालक्ष्मी बन जाती हैं.
दिपावली की रात गणेश जी की पूजा से समृद्धि और ज्ञान मिलता है जिससे व्यक्ति में धन कमाने की प्रेरणा आती है. व्यक्ति में इस बात की भी समझ बढ़ती है कि धन का सदुपयोग किस प्रकार करना चाहिए. माता लक्ष्मी अपनी पूजा से प्रसन्न होकर धन का वरदान देती हैं और धनपति कुबेर धन संग्रह में सहायक होते हैं. इन उद्देश्यों की पूर्ति के लिए ही दीपावली की रात गणेश लक्ष्मी के साथ कुबेर की भी पूजा की जाती है.
पूजन सामग्री:
कलावा, रोली, सिंदूर, 1 नारियल, अक्षत, लाल वस्त्र , फूल, 5 सुपारी, लौंग, पान के पत्ते, घी, कलश, कलश हेतु आम का पल्लव, चौकी, समिधा, हवन कुण्ड, हवन सामग्री, कमल गट्टे, पंचामृत ( दूध, दही, घी, शहद, गंगाजल), फल, बताशे, मिठाईयां, पूजा में बैठने हेतु आसन, हल्दी , अगरबत्ती, कुमकुम, इत्र, दीपक, रूई, आरती की थाली. कुशा, रक्त चंदन, श्रीखंड चंदन.
पर्वोपचार:
पूजन शुरू करने से पूर्व चौकी को धोकर उस पर रंगोली बनाएं. चौकी के चारों कोने पर चार दीपक जलाएं. जिस स्थान पर गणेश एवं लक्ष्मी की प्रतिमा स्थापित करनी हो वहां कुछ चावल रखें. इस स्थान पर क्रमश: गणेश और लक्ष्मी की मूर्ति को रखें. अगर कुबेर, सरस्वती एवं काली माता की मूर्ति हो तो उसे भी रखें. लक्ष्मी माता की पूर्ण प्रसन्नता हेतु भगवान विष्णु की मूर्ति लक्ष्मी माता के बायीं ओर रखकर पूजा करनी चाहिए.
आसन बिछाकर गणपति एवं लक्ष्मी की मूर्ति के सम्मुख बैठ जाएं. इसके बाद अपने आपको तथा आसन को इस मंत्र से शुद्धि करें अपवित्र: पवित्रोवा सर्वावस्थां गतोऽपिवा। य: स्मरेत् पुण्डरीकाक्षं स बाह्याभ्यन्तर: शुचि:॥ इन मंत्रों से अपने ऊपर तथा आसन पर 3-3 बार कुशा या पुष्पादि से छींटें लगायें फिर आचमन करें। केशवाय नम: माधवाय नम:, नारायणाय नम:, फिर हाथ धोएं, पुन: आसन शुद्धि मंत्र बोलें:-
पृथ्वी त्वयाधृता लोका देवि त्वम् विष्णुनाधृता। त्वं च धारय मां देवि पवित्रं कुरु चासनम्॥
शुद्धि और आचमन के बाद चंदन लगाना चाहिए. अनामिका उंगली से श्रीखंड चंदन लगाते हुए यह मंत्र बोलें चन्दऔनस्यद महत्पुहण्यधम् पवित्रं पापनाशनम्, आपदां हरते नित्यलम् लक्ष्मीा तिष्ठडतु सर्वदा।
दीपावली पूजन हेतु संकल्प:
पंचोपचार करने बाद संकल्प करना चाहिए. संकल्प में पुष्प, फल, सुपारी, पान, चांदी का सिक्का, नारियल (पानी वाला), मिठाई, मेवा, आदि सभी सामग्री थोड़ी-थोड़ी मात्रा में लेकर संकल्प मंत्र बोलें- विष्णुर्विष्णुर्विष्णु:, तत्सदद्य श्री पुराणपुरुषोत्तमस्य विष्णोराज्ञया प्रवर्तमानस्य ब्रह्मणो ऽह्नि द्वितीय पराद्र्धे श्री श्वेतवाराहकल्पे सप्तमे वैवस्वतमन्वन्तरे, अष्टाविंशतितमे कलियुगे, कलिप्रथम चरणे जम्बुद्वीपे भरतखण्डे आर्यावर्तान्तर्गत ब्रह्मवर्तैकदेशे पुण्य (अपने नगर/गांव का नाम लें) क्षेत्रे बौद्धावतारे वीर विक्रमादित्यनृपते:, तमेऽब्दे शोभन नाम संवत्सरे दक्षिणायने/उत्तरायणे हेमंत ऋतो महामंगल्यप्रदे मासानां मासोत्तमे कार्तिक मासे कृष्ण पक्षे अमायाम तिथौ (जो वार हो) गुरूवासरे चित्रानक्षत्रे अमुक गोत्रोत्पन्नोऽहं (गोत्र का नाम लें), अमुकनामाहम् (अपना नाम लें), सकलपापक्षयपूर्वकं सर्वारिष्ट शांतिनिमित्तं सर्वमंगलकामनया श्रुतिस्मृत्योक्त फल प्राप्तर्थं महागणपति नवग्रहप्रणव सहितं कुलदेवतानां पूजनसहितं स्थिर लक्ष्मी महालक्ष्मी देवी पूजन निमित्तं एतत्सर्वं शुभ-पूजोपचारविधि सम्पा-दयिष्ये.
गणपति पूजन:
किसी भी पूजा में सर्वप्रथम गणेश जी की पूजा की जाती है. इसलिए आपको भी सबसे पहले गणेश जी की ही पूजा करनी चाहिए. हाथ में पुष्प लेकर गणपति का ध्यान करें. गजाननम्भूतगणादिसेवितं कपित्थ जम्बू फलचारुभक्षणम्। उमासुतं शोक विनाशकारकं नमामि विघ्नेश्वरपादपंकजम्।
आवाहन- गं गणपतये इहागच्छ इह तिष्ठ कहकर पात्र में अक्षत छोड़ें. अर्घा में जल लेकर बोलें एतानि पाद्याद्याचमनीय-स्नानीयं, पुनराचमनीयम् गं गणपतये नम:. रक्त चंदन लगाएं- इदम रक्त चंदनम् लेपनम् गं गणपतये नम:, इसी प्रकार श्रीखंड चंदन बोलकर श्रीखंड चंदन लगाएं. इसके पश्चात सिन्दूर चढ़ाएं इदं सिन्दूराभरणं लेपनम् गं गणपतये नम:. दर्वा और विल्बपत्र भी गणेश जी को चढ़ाएं. गणेश जी को वस्त्र पहनाएं. इदं रक्त वस्त्रं गं गणपतये समर्पयामि.
पूजन के बाद गणेश जी को प्रसाद अर्पित करें- इदं नानाविधि नैवेद्यानि गं गणपतये समर्पयामि:. मिष्ठान्न अर्पित करने के लिए मंत्र- इदं शर्करा घृत युक्त नैवेद्यं गं गणपतये समर्पयामि:. प्रसाद अर्पित करने के बाद आचमन करायें. इदं आचमनयं गं गणपतये नम:. इसके बाद पान सुपारी चढ़ायें -इदं ताम्बूल पुगीफल समायुक्तं गं गणपतये समर्पयामि:. अब एक फूल लेकर गणपति पर चढ़ाएं और बोलें: एष: पुष्पान्जलि गं गणपतये नम:
इसी प्रकार से अन्य सभी देवताओं की पूजा करें. जिस देवता की पूजा करनी हो गणेश के स्थान पर उस देवता का नाम लें.
कलश पूजन:
घड़े या लोटे पर मोली बांधकर कलश के ऊपर आम का पल्लव रखें. कलश के अंदर सुपारी, दूर्वा, अक्षत, मुद्रा रखें. कलश के गले में मोली लपेटें. नारियल पर वस्त्र लपेट कर कलश पर रखें. हाथ में अक्षत और पुष्प लेकर वरूण देवता का कलश में आह्वान करें. ओ3म् त्तत्वायामि ब्रह्मणा वन्दमानस्तदाशास्ते यजमानो हविभि:। अहेडमानो वरुणेह बोध्युरुशंस मान आयु: प्रमोषी:। (अस्मिन कलशे वरुणं सांगं सपरिवारं सायुध सशक्तिकमावाहयामि, ओ3म्भूर्भुव: स्व:भो वरुण इहागच्छ इहतिष्ठ। स्थापयामि पूजयामि॥)
इसके बाद जिस प्रकार गणेश जी की पूजा की है उसी प्रकार वरूण देवता की पूजा करें. इसके बाद देवराज इन्द्र फिर कुबेर की पूजा करें.
लक्ष्मी पूजन:
सबसे पहले माता लक्ष्मी का ध्यान करें-
या सा पद्मासनस्था, विपुल-कटि-तटी, पद्म-दलायताक्षी।
गम्भीरावर्त-नाभि:, स्तन-भर-नमिता, शुभ्र-वस्त्रोत्तरीया।।
लक्ष्मी दिव्यैर्गजेन्द्रै:। मणि-गज-खचितै:, स्नापिता हेम-कुम्भै:।
नित्यं सा पद्म-हस्ता, मम वसतु गृहे, सर्व-मांगल्य-युक्ता।।
इसके बाद लक्ष्मी देवी की प्रतिष्ठा करें. हाथ में अक्षत लेकर बोलें-
भूर्भुव: स्व: महालक्ष्मी, इहागच्छ इह तिष्ठ, एतानि पादाद्याचमनीयं-स्नानीयं, पुनराचमनीयम्।
प्रतिष्ठा के बाद स्नान कराएं। मन्दाकिन्या समानीतै:, हेमाम्भोरुह-वासितै: स्नानं कुरुष्व देवेशि, सलिलं च सुगन्धिभि:।। लक्ष्म्यै नम:।। इदं रक्त चंदनम् लेपनम् से रक्त चंदन लगाएं। इदं सिन्दूराभरणं से सिन्दूर लगाएं। ' मन्दार-पारिजाताद्यै:, अनेकै: कुसुमै: शुभै:। पूजयामि शिवे, भक्तया, कमलायै नमो नम:।। लक्ष्म्यै नम:, पुष्पाणि समर्पयामि। इस मंत्र से पुष्प चढ़ाएं फिर माला पहनाएं. अब लक्ष्मी देवी को इदं रक्त वस्त्र समर्पयामि कहकर लाल वस्त्र पहनाएं.
लक्ष्मी देवी की अंग पूजा:
बायें हाथ में अक्षत लेकर दायें हाथ से थोड़ा-थोड़ा छोड़ते जायें— चपलायै नम: पादौ पूजयामि चंचलायै नम: जानूं पूजयामि, कमलायै नम: कटि पूजयामि, कात्यायिन्यै नम: नाभि पूजयामि, जगन्मातरे नम: जठरं पूजयामि, विश्ववल्लभायै नम: वक्षस्थल पूजयामि, कमलवासिन्यै नम: भुजौ पूजयामि, कमल पत्राक्ष्यै नम: नेत्रत्रयं पूजयामि, श्रियै नम: शिरं: पूजयामि।
अष्टसिद्धि पूजा:
अंग पूजन की भांति हाथ में अक्षत लेकर मंत्रोच्चारण करें. अणिम्ने नम:, ओं महिम्ने नम:, गरिम्णे नम:, ओं लघिम्ने नम:, प्राप्त्यै नम: प्राकाम्यै नम:, ईशितायै नम: ओं वशितायै नम:।
अष्टलक्ष्मी पूजन:
अंग पूजन एवं अष्टसिद्धि पूजा की भांति हाथ में अक्षत लेकर मंत्रोच्चारण करें. आद्ये लक्ष्म्यै नम:, ओं विद्यालक्ष्म्यै नम:, सौभाग्य लक्ष्म्यै नम:, ओं अमृत लक्ष्म्यै नम:, लक्ष्म्यै नम:, सत्य लक्ष्म्यै नम:, भोगलक्ष्म्यै नम:, योग लक्ष्म्यै नम:।
नैवैद्य अर्पण:
पूजन के पश्चात देवी को ''इदं नानाविधि नैवेद्यानि महालक्ष्म्यै समर्पयामि मंत्र से नैवैद्य अर्पित करें. मिष्टान अर्पित करने के लिए मंत्र: इदं शर्करा घृत समायुक्तं नैवेद्यं महालक्ष्म्यै समर्पयामि बालें. प्रसाद अर्पित करने के बाद आचमन करायें. इदं आचमनयं महालक्ष्म्यै नम:. इसके बाद पान सुपारी चढ़ायें: इदं ताम्बूल पुगीफल समायुक्तं महालक्ष्म्यै समर्पयामि. अब एक फूल लेकर लक्ष्मी देवी पर चढ़ाएं और बोलें: एष: पुष्पान्जलि महालक्ष्म्यै नम:।
लक्ष्मी देवी की पूजा के बाद भगवान विष्णु एवं शिव जी पूजा करनी चाहिए फिर गल्ले की पूजा करें. पूजन के पश्चात सपरिवार आरती और क्षमा प्रार्थना करें।
दीपावली का अर्थ है दीपों की पंक्ति। दीपावली शब्द 'दीप एवं 'आवली की संधि से बना है। आवली अर्थात पंक्ति, इस प्रकार दीपावली शब्द का अर्थ है, दीपों की पंक्ति। भारतवर्ष में मनाए जाने वाले सभी त्यौहारों में दीपावली का सामाजिक और धार्मिक दोनों दृष्टि से अत्यधिक महत्व है। इसे दीपोत्सव भी कहते हैं। 'तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय अर्थात् 'अंधेरे से ज्योति अर्थात प्रकाश की ओर जाइए यह उपनिषदों की आज्ञा है। इसे सिख, बौद्ध तथा जैन धर्म के लोग भी मनाते हैं। माना जाता है कि दीपावली के दिन अयोध्या के राजा श्री रामचंद्र अपने चौदह वर्ष के वनवास के पश्चात लौटे थे। अयोध्यावासियों का ह्रदय अपने परम प्रिय राजा के आगमन से उल्लसित था। श्री राम के स्वागत में अयोध्यावासियों ने घी के दीए जलाए। कार्तिक मास की सघन काली अमावस्या की वह रात्रि दीयों की रोशनी से जगमगा उठी। तब से आज तक भारतीय प्रति वर्ष यह प्रकाश-पर्व हर्ष व उल्लास से मनाते हैं। यह पर्व अधिकतर ग्रिगेरियन कैलन्डर के अनुसार अक्तूबर या नवंबर महीने में पड़ता है। दीपावली दीपों का त्योहार है। इसे दीवाली या दीपावली भी कहते हैं। दीवाली अँधेरे से रोशनी में जाने का प्रतीक है। भारतीयों का विश्वास है कि सत्य की सदा जीत होती है झूठ का नाश होता है। दीवाली यही चरितार्थ करती है- असतो माऽ सद्गमय, तमसो माऽ ज्योतिर्गमय। दीपावली स्वच्छता व प्रकाश का पर्व है। कई सप्ताह पूर्व ही दीपावली की तैयारियाँ आरंभ हो जाती है। लोग अपने घरों, दुकानों आदि की सफाई का कार्य आरंभ कर देते हैं। घरों में मरम्मत, रंग-रोगन,सफ़ेदी आदि का कार्य होने लगता हैं। लोग दुकानों को भी साफ़ सुथरा का सजाते हैं। बाज़ारों में गलियों को भी सुनहरी झंडियों से सजाया जाता है। दीपावली से पहले ही घर-मोहल्ले, बाज़ार सब साफ-सुथरे व सजे-धजे नजऱ आते हैं।
इस दिन घरों में सुबह से ही तरह-तरह के पकवान बनाए जाते हैं। बाज़ारों में खील-बताशे, मिठाइयाँ, खांड़ के खिलौने, लक्ष्मी-गणेश आदि की मूर्तियाँ बिकने लगती हैं। स्थान-स्थान पर आतिशबाजी और पटाखों की दूकानें सजी होती हैं। सुबह से ही लोग रिश्तेदारों, मित्रों, सगे-संबंधियों के घर मिठाइयाँ व उपहार बाँटने लगते हैं। दीपावली की शाम लक्ष्मी और गणेश जी की पूजा की जाती है। पूजा के बाद लोग अपने-अपने घरों के बाहर दीपक व मोमबत्तियाँ जलाकर रखते हैं। चारों ओर चमकते दीपक अत्यंत सुंदर दिखाई देते हैं। रंग-बिरंगे बिजली के बल्बों से बाज़ार व गलियाँ जगमगा उठते हैं। बच्चे तरह-तरह के पटाखों व आतिशबाजिय़ों का आनंद लेते हैं। रंग-बिरंगी फुलझडिय़ाँ, आतिशबाजिय़ाँ व अनारों के जलने का आनंद प्रत्येक आयु के लोग लेते हैं। देर रात तक कार्तिक की अँधेरी रात पूर्णिमा से भी से भी अधिक प्रकाशयुक्त दिखाई पड़ती है। दीपावली से अगले दिन गोवर्धन पर्वत अपनी अँगुली पर उठाकर इंद्र के कोप से डूबते ब्रजवासियों को बनाया था। इसी दिन लोग अपने गाय-बैलों को सजाते हैं तथा गोबर का पर्वत बनाकर पूजा करते हैं। अगले दिन भाई दूज का पर्व होता है। दीपावली के दूसरे दिन व्यापारी अपने पुराने बहीखाते बदल देते हैं। वे दूकानों पर लक्ष्मी पूजन करते हैं। उनका मानना है कि ऐसा करने से धन की देवी लक्ष्मी की उन पर विशेष अनुकंपा रहेगी। कृषक वर्ग के लिये इस पर्व का विशेष महत्त्व है। खरीफ़ की फसल पक कर तैयार हो जाने से कृषकों के खलिहान समृद्ध हो जाते हैं। कृषक समाज अपनी समृद्धि का यह पर्व उल्लासपूर्वक मनाता हैं।
दीपावली यानी धन और समृद्धि का त्यौहार. इस त्यौहार में गणेश और माता लक्ष्मी के साथ ही साथ धनाधिपति भगवान कुबेर, सरस्वती और काली माता की भी पूजा की जाती है. सरस्वती और काली भी माता लक्ष्मी के ही सात्विक और तामसिक रूप हैं. जब सरस्वती, लक्ष्मी और काली एक होती हैं तब महालक्ष्मी बन जाती हैं.
दिपावली की रात गणेश जी की पूजा से समृद्धि और ज्ञान मिलता है जिससे व्यक्ति में धन कमाने की प्रेरणा आती है. व्यक्ति में इस बात की भी समझ बढ़ती है कि धन का सदुपयोग किस प्रकार करना चाहिए. माता लक्ष्मी अपनी पूजा से प्रसन्न होकर धन का वरदान देती हैं और धनपति कुबेर धन संग्रह में सहायक होते हैं. इन उद्देश्यों की पूर्ति के लिए ही दीपावली की रात गणेश लक्ष्मी के साथ कुबेर की भी पूजा की जाती है.
पूजन सामग्री:
कलावा, रोली, सिंदूर, 1 नारियल, अक्षत, लाल वस्त्र , फूल, 5 सुपारी, लौंग, पान के पत्ते, घी, कलश, कलश हेतु आम का पल्लव, चौकी, समिधा, हवन कुण्ड, हवन सामग्री, कमल गट्टे, पंचामृत ( दूध, दही, घी, शहद, गंगाजल), फल, बताशे, मिठाईयां, पूजा में बैठने हेतु आसन, हल्दी , अगरबत्ती, कुमकुम, इत्र, दीपक, रूई, आरती की थाली. कुशा, रक्त चंदन, श्रीखंड चंदन.
पर्वोपचार:
पूजन शुरू करने से पूर्व चौकी को धोकर उस पर रंगोली बनाएं. चौकी के चारों कोने पर चार दीपक जलाएं. जिस स्थान पर गणेश एवं लक्ष्मी की प्रतिमा स्थापित करनी हो वहां कुछ चावल रखें. इस स्थान पर क्रमश: गणेश और लक्ष्मी की मूर्ति को रखें. अगर कुबेर, सरस्वती एवं काली माता की मूर्ति हो तो उसे भी रखें. लक्ष्मी माता की पूर्ण प्रसन्नता हेतु भगवान विष्णु की मूर्ति लक्ष्मी माता के बायीं ओर रखकर पूजा करनी चाहिए.
आसन बिछाकर गणपति एवं लक्ष्मी की मूर्ति के सम्मुख बैठ जाएं. इसके बाद अपने आपको तथा आसन को इस मंत्र से शुद्धि करें अपवित्र: पवित्रोवा सर्वावस्थां गतोऽपिवा। य: स्मरेत् पुण्डरीकाक्षं स बाह्याभ्यन्तर: शुचि:॥ इन मंत्रों से अपने ऊपर तथा आसन पर 3-3 बार कुशा या पुष्पादि से छींटें लगायें फिर आचमन करें। केशवाय नम: माधवाय नम:, नारायणाय नम:, फिर हाथ धोएं, पुन: आसन शुद्धि मंत्र बोलें:-
पृथ्वी त्वयाधृता लोका देवि त्वम् विष्णुनाधृता। त्वं च धारय मां देवि पवित्रं कुरु चासनम्॥
शुद्धि और आचमन के बाद चंदन लगाना चाहिए. अनामिका उंगली से श्रीखंड चंदन लगाते हुए यह मंत्र बोलें चन्दऔनस्यद महत्पुहण्यधम् पवित्रं पापनाशनम्, आपदां हरते नित्यलम् लक्ष्मीा तिष्ठडतु सर्वदा।
दीपावली पूजन हेतु संकल्प:
पंचोपचार करने बाद संकल्प करना चाहिए. संकल्प में पुष्प, फल, सुपारी, पान, चांदी का सिक्का, नारियल (पानी वाला), मिठाई, मेवा, आदि सभी सामग्री थोड़ी-थोड़ी मात्रा में लेकर संकल्प मंत्र बोलें- विष्णुर्विष्णुर्विष्णु:, तत्सदद्य श्री पुराणपुरुषोत्तमस्य विष्णोराज्ञया प्रवर्तमानस्य ब्रह्मणो ऽह्नि द्वितीय पराद्र्धे श्री श्वेतवाराहकल्पे सप्तमे वैवस्वतमन्वन्तरे, अष्टाविंशतितमे कलियुगे, कलिप्रथम चरणे जम्बुद्वीपे भरतखण्डे आर्यावर्तान्तर्गत ब्रह्मवर्तैकदेशे पुण्य (अपने नगर/गांव का नाम लें) क्षेत्रे बौद्धावतारे वीर विक्रमादित्यनृपते:, तमेऽब्दे शोभन नाम संवत्सरे दक्षिणायने/उत्तरायणे हेमंत ऋतो महामंगल्यप्रदे मासानां मासोत्तमे कार्तिक मासे कृष्ण पक्षे अमायाम तिथौ (जो वार हो) गुरूवासरे चित्रानक्षत्रे अमुक गोत्रोत्पन्नोऽहं (गोत्र का नाम लें), अमुकनामाहम् (अपना नाम लें), सकलपापक्षयपूर्वकं सर्वारिष्ट शांतिनिमित्तं सर्वमंगलकामनया श्रुतिस्मृत्योक्त फल प्राप्तर्थं महागणपति नवग्रहप्रणव सहितं कुलदेवतानां पूजनसहितं स्थिर लक्ष्मी महालक्ष्मी देवी पूजन निमित्तं एतत्सर्वं शुभ-पूजोपचारविधि सम्पा-दयिष्ये.
गणपति पूजन:
किसी भी पूजा में सर्वप्रथम गणेश जी की पूजा की जाती है. इसलिए आपको भी सबसे पहले गणेश जी की ही पूजा करनी चाहिए. हाथ में पुष्प लेकर गणपति का ध्यान करें. गजाननम्भूतगणादिसेवितं कपित्थ जम्बू फलचारुभक्षणम्। उमासुतं शोक विनाशकारकं नमामि विघ्नेश्वरपादपंकजम्।
आवाहन- गं गणपतये इहागच्छ इह तिष्ठ कहकर पात्र में अक्षत छोड़ें. अर्घा में जल लेकर बोलें एतानि पाद्याद्याचमनीय-स्नानीयं, पुनराचमनीयम् गं गणपतये नम:. रक्त चंदन लगाएं- इदम रक्त चंदनम् लेपनम् गं गणपतये नम:, इसी प्रकार श्रीखंड चंदन बोलकर श्रीखंड चंदन लगाएं. इसके पश्चात सिन्दूर चढ़ाएं इदं सिन्दूराभरणं लेपनम् गं गणपतये नम:. दर्वा और विल्बपत्र भी गणेश जी को चढ़ाएं. गणेश जी को वस्त्र पहनाएं. इदं रक्त वस्त्रं गं गणपतये समर्पयामि.
पूजन के बाद गणेश जी को प्रसाद अर्पित करें- इदं नानाविधि नैवेद्यानि गं गणपतये समर्पयामि:. मिष्ठान्न अर्पित करने के लिए मंत्र- इदं शर्करा घृत युक्त नैवेद्यं गं गणपतये समर्पयामि:. प्रसाद अर्पित करने के बाद आचमन करायें. इदं आचमनयं गं गणपतये नम:. इसके बाद पान सुपारी चढ़ायें -इदं ताम्बूल पुगीफल समायुक्तं गं गणपतये समर्पयामि:. अब एक फूल लेकर गणपति पर चढ़ाएं और बोलें: एष: पुष्पान्जलि गं गणपतये नम:
इसी प्रकार से अन्य सभी देवताओं की पूजा करें. जिस देवता की पूजा करनी हो गणेश के स्थान पर उस देवता का नाम लें.
कलश पूजन:
घड़े या लोटे पर मोली बांधकर कलश के ऊपर आम का पल्लव रखें. कलश के अंदर सुपारी, दूर्वा, अक्षत, मुद्रा रखें. कलश के गले में मोली लपेटें. नारियल पर वस्त्र लपेट कर कलश पर रखें. हाथ में अक्षत और पुष्प लेकर वरूण देवता का कलश में आह्वान करें. ओ3म् त्तत्वायामि ब्रह्मणा वन्दमानस्तदाशास्ते यजमानो हविभि:। अहेडमानो वरुणेह बोध्युरुशंस मान आयु: प्रमोषी:। (अस्मिन कलशे वरुणं सांगं सपरिवारं सायुध सशक्तिकमावाहयामि, ओ3म्भूर्भुव: स्व:भो वरुण इहागच्छ इहतिष्ठ। स्थापयामि पूजयामि॥)
इसके बाद जिस प्रकार गणेश जी की पूजा की है उसी प्रकार वरूण देवता की पूजा करें. इसके बाद देवराज इन्द्र फिर कुबेर की पूजा करें.
लक्ष्मी पूजन:
सबसे पहले माता लक्ष्मी का ध्यान करें-
या सा पद्मासनस्था, विपुल-कटि-तटी, पद्म-दलायताक्षी।
गम्भीरावर्त-नाभि:, स्तन-भर-नमिता, शुभ्र-वस्त्रोत्तरीया।।
लक्ष्मी दिव्यैर्गजेन्द्रै:। मणि-गज-खचितै:, स्नापिता हेम-कुम्भै:।
नित्यं सा पद्म-हस्ता, मम वसतु गृहे, सर्व-मांगल्य-युक्ता।।
इसके बाद लक्ष्मी देवी की प्रतिष्ठा करें. हाथ में अक्षत लेकर बोलें-
भूर्भुव: स्व: महालक्ष्मी, इहागच्छ इह तिष्ठ, एतानि पादाद्याचमनीयं-स्नानीयं, पुनराचमनीयम्।
प्रतिष्ठा के बाद स्नान कराएं। मन्दाकिन्या समानीतै:, हेमाम्भोरुह-वासितै: स्नानं कुरुष्व देवेशि, सलिलं च सुगन्धिभि:।। लक्ष्म्यै नम:।। इदं रक्त चंदनम् लेपनम् से रक्त चंदन लगाएं। इदं सिन्दूराभरणं से सिन्दूर लगाएं। ' मन्दार-पारिजाताद्यै:, अनेकै: कुसुमै: शुभै:। पूजयामि शिवे, भक्तया, कमलायै नमो नम:।। लक्ष्म्यै नम:, पुष्पाणि समर्पयामि। इस मंत्र से पुष्प चढ़ाएं फिर माला पहनाएं. अब लक्ष्मी देवी को इदं रक्त वस्त्र समर्पयामि कहकर लाल वस्त्र पहनाएं.
लक्ष्मी देवी की अंग पूजा:
बायें हाथ में अक्षत लेकर दायें हाथ से थोड़ा-थोड़ा छोड़ते जायें— चपलायै नम: पादौ पूजयामि चंचलायै नम: जानूं पूजयामि, कमलायै नम: कटि पूजयामि, कात्यायिन्यै नम: नाभि पूजयामि, जगन्मातरे नम: जठरं पूजयामि, विश्ववल्लभायै नम: वक्षस्थल पूजयामि, कमलवासिन्यै नम: भुजौ पूजयामि, कमल पत्राक्ष्यै नम: नेत्रत्रयं पूजयामि, श्रियै नम: शिरं: पूजयामि।
अष्टसिद्धि पूजा:
अंग पूजन की भांति हाथ में अक्षत लेकर मंत्रोच्चारण करें. अणिम्ने नम:, ओं महिम्ने नम:, गरिम्णे नम:, ओं लघिम्ने नम:, प्राप्त्यै नम: प्राकाम्यै नम:, ईशितायै नम: ओं वशितायै नम:।
अष्टलक्ष्मी पूजन:
अंग पूजन एवं अष्टसिद्धि पूजा की भांति हाथ में अक्षत लेकर मंत्रोच्चारण करें. आद्ये लक्ष्म्यै नम:, ओं विद्यालक्ष्म्यै नम:, सौभाग्य लक्ष्म्यै नम:, ओं अमृत लक्ष्म्यै नम:, लक्ष्म्यै नम:, सत्य लक्ष्म्यै नम:, भोगलक्ष्म्यै नम:, योग लक्ष्म्यै नम:।
नैवैद्य अर्पण:
पूजन के पश्चात देवी को ''इदं नानाविधि नैवेद्यानि महालक्ष्म्यै समर्पयामि मंत्र से नैवैद्य अर्पित करें. मिष्टान अर्पित करने के लिए मंत्र: इदं शर्करा घृत समायुक्तं नैवेद्यं महालक्ष्म्यै समर्पयामि बालें. प्रसाद अर्पित करने के बाद आचमन करायें. इदं आचमनयं महालक्ष्म्यै नम:. इसके बाद पान सुपारी चढ़ायें: इदं ताम्बूल पुगीफल समायुक्तं महालक्ष्म्यै समर्पयामि. अब एक फूल लेकर लक्ष्मी देवी पर चढ़ाएं और बोलें: एष: पुष्पान्जलि महालक्ष्म्यै नम:।
लक्ष्मी देवी की पूजा के बाद भगवान विष्णु एवं शिव जी पूजा करनी चाहिए फिर गल्ले की पूजा करें. पूजन के पश्चात सपरिवार आरती और क्षमा प्रार्थना करें।

बुध की महादशा का फल
यदि बुध कारक ग्रह होकर अपनी उच्च राशि, मूल त्रिक्रोण राशि, स्वराशि या मित्र राशि का होकर केन्द्र अथवा त्रिक्रोण में हो तो बुध की दशा जातक के लिए आनन्ददायक रहती है । उसे अनेक प्रकार की भोग सामग्री प्राप्त होती है । उच्च वाहन, सुन्दर आवास, मूल्यवान वस्त्राभूषण जातक क्रय कर लेता है । विद्या के क्षेत्र में भी जातक उन्नति करता है,उसके मन में नए नए विचारों का सूत्रपात होता है | वैज्ञानिक क्षेत्र में नए आविष्कार करने की क्षमता आती है तथा वह कई जटिल समस्याओं का हल खीज निकलता है |

यदि बुध सूर्य से प्रभावित हो तो जातक को राज्य की ओर से सम्मान प्राप्त होता है | जातक देश-विदेश में अपना व्यवसाय फैला देता हैं नौकरी करता हो तो पदोन्नति निश्चित रूप से होती है ।परिजनों-सम्बन्धियों से प्यार मिलता है, जुआ-सट्टा-लाटरी आदि से धनवृद्धि होती है । जातक नए-नए सम्बन्ध जोड़कर नित्य का क्षेत्र बढा लेता है। इन लोगों के द्वारा भी धनार्जन के अवसर हिलते हैं । घर में शुभ समाचार आते हैं । स्वर्ण, रजत और रत्नों के व्यवसाय में लगे लोग अधिक लाभार्जन कर लेते हैं। इन दिनों जातक जो भी इच्छा करता है, वह पूरी हो जाती है । बेरोजगार जातक आजीविका पा लेते हैं । ऐसा अनुभव में आया है की जातक नैतिक-अनैतिक दोनों प्रकार के कर्म करता है तथा सफलता पा लेता है तथा आस्तिक-नास्तिक दोनों दोनों प्रकार के जीवन का यथा स्थिति जीता है | यदि बुध अकारक होकर नीच राशि, शत्रु राशि अथवा पाप मध्य्त्व में हो, वक्री हो या उच्च का होकर नीव नवांश में हो तो अतीव अशुभ फलप्रदाता बनता है । जातक के धन-धान्य होता है क्या उसे दरिद्रता में समय व्यतीत करना पड़ता है | यह अलग बात है कि द्रारिद्रय उसके कर्म-हास का फल होता है । मानसिक चिन्ताएं जातक को पीडित करती है । अपने उच्चधिकारियों से मतभेद बढ़ते है, राज्यकर्मचारियों से द्वेष के कारण उसे हानि उठानी पड़ती है । जातक छल-कपट व धोखेबाजी से येन-केन-प्रकारेण। धन-संचय करने का प्रयास करता है। धूतक्रीडा में धनहानि होती है, बूतकर्म के कारण जातक की बदनामी होती है और उसके सम्मान को ठेस पहुंचती है ।
यदि बुध अनिष्ट भाव से स्थित होकर वक्री हो तो जातक का मित्रों से वैमनस्य हो जाता है तथा नित्र भी शत्रुवत व्यवहार करते है, विदेशवास करना पड़ता है । परिवार से विलग रहकर जातक नीच स्त्रियों से सम्पर्क बनाता है, जिसके कारण धन मान-सम्मान एव प्रतिष्ठा का हास होता है । जीविकोपार्जन के लिए दूसरों की चापलूसी एव सेवा करनी पड़ती है | यदि बुध पापी ग्रह से पुल अथवा दुष्ट होकर निर्बल हो तो कृषि-कार्य में हानि क्या विद्या के क्षेत्र में अवनति होती है । पशुदृभुका नाश होने से आर्थिक स्थिति बिगड़ती है, कारावास का भय बस्ता है क्या चित्त को परिताप पहुँचता है |मन में अस्थिरता बढ़ती है, क्या करूं क्या न करू का निर्णय ले पाने की क्षमता नहीं रहती,मष्तिष्क विकार होने की समभावना बढ़ जाती है |तथा लोगों में व्यर्थ में अपवाद फैलते है | यद बुध अष्टमस्थ हो तो शत्रु प्रबल होते हैं, उनके द्वारा शस्वाघात का भय रहता है धनहानि होती है, राजकीय दण्ड मिल सकता है, परिजनों से वैमनस्य तथा घर से कलह का वातावरण बनता हैं |

मंगल की महादशा का फल

चन्द्रमा की महादशा का फल
यदि चन्द्रमा पूर्ण वली हो, उच्च राशिगत हो, स्वगृही हो, केन्द्र अथवा त्रिक्रोण में स्थित हो तथा किसी भी अशुभ ग्रह से न तो दृष्ट हो, न ही उससे युति करता हो तो चन्द्रमा की महादशा में जातक की पदोन्नति होती है, व्यवसाय में वृद्धि होती है, विदेश यात्रा के अवसर मिलते है । विंशेषत: जलमार्ग से यात्रा करने पर लाभ रहता है। यदि चन्द्रमा लाभ्स्थान से युति करता हो तो जातक के लिए चन्द्रमा की महादशा अत्यन्त सौभाग्यदायक रहती है । जातक को भोग-सामग्री की प्राप्ति होती है, वह अनेक तीर्थों की यात्रा करता है तथा धार्मिक कार्यों में धन का सदूव्यय कर कीर्ति अर्जित करता है। यह मन्दिर, प्याऊ, बगीचा आदि बनवाने से रुचि लेता है । जातक के घर में भी मंगल कार्य होते हैं । यदि चन्द्रमा कर्मेश से युक्त हो तो जातक को राज्य की ओर से सम्मान मिलता है तथा समाज से भी उसका यश चहु ओर फैलता है । जातक चुनाव लड़कर सूख भोगता है । यदि भाग्येश और कर्मेश दोनो से युक्त होकर चन्द्रमा भाग्य अथवा कर्म स्थान में ही स्थित हो तो जातक मंत्री पद भी प्राप्त कर लेता है। यदि परीक्षा में उतीर्ण होता है तो वजीफा मिलने का योग बनता है, उच्च शिक्षा के लिए विदेश जाने का अक्सर मिलता है। उसे सभी कार्यों में सहज ही सफलता प्राप्त हो जाती है। यदि जातक का कोई केस न्यायालय में विचाराधीन हो तो इस दशा में उसकी जीत सुनिश्चित हो जाती है । प्राय ऐसा अनुभव में आया है कि चन्द्रमा की महादशा का पूर्व भाव्जन्य फल और बाद का समय राशिजन्य फल देता है। जातक को सन्तति लाभ, स्त्री सुख में वृद्धि, धन, वाहन एवं अच्छे निवास की प्राप्ति होती है। विशेषत: सुगन्धित द्रव्यों की प्राप्ति एवं उनके व्यापार से धन की प्राप्ति होती है। कन्या सन्तान, धन एव मान-सम्मान मिलता है, साथ ही उसे भ्रमणशील भी होना पड़ता । यदि चन्द्रमा धन भाव में उच्च राशि में हो तो जातक को निश्चित रूप से पुत्र प्राप्ति होती है। यहा पुत्र प्राप्ति तभी संभव है जब ऐसी आयु हो, अन्यथा पुत्र जैसा कोई अन्य व्यक्ति सहयोगी होता है, पशु-धन में वृद्धि, स्वर्ण, रजत एवं रत्नों के आभूषणों की प्राप्ति, भाग्य में वृद्धि, राज्य में सम्मान, परिवार में वृद्धि, उच्च शिक्षा की प्राप्ति आदि फल प्राप्त होते हैं । यदि चन्द्रमा अशुभ प्रभाव में हो, क्षीणबली हो, अस्त हो, पापी ग्रहों से दृष्ट हो अथवा उनसे युक्त हो, शत्रुक्षेत्री हो तथा अशुभ भावों में स्थित हो तो जातक को चन्द्रमा की दशा का फल घोर दुःखदायक है । जातक के घर-परिवार में कलह का वातावरण बना रहता है, शिरोवेदना एवं शीत ज्वर आदि से पीडा मिलती है तथा अप्रत्याशित व्यय से उसकी आर्थिक स्थिति डावांडोल हो जाती है । वाहन-दुर्घटना से कष्ट होता है । यदि' केतु भी साथ में हो तो दुर्घटना में अंग-भंग का भय बढ़ जाता है । परिजनों से मनोमलिनीय बना रहता है व्यर्थ के अपवाद से मन में खिन्नता बनती है, सन्तान का जन्म हो, तो धनहानि एवं अपमानित होने की आशंका रहती है। जातक की धर्म की अपेक्षा अधर्म में रुचि बढ़ती है, अधिकारी वर्ग की अप्रसन्नता एव मातुल पक्ष से विरोध के कारण उसके चित्त में उद्वेग एव उदासीनता बढ़ती है, यकृत रोग के कारण भोजन में अरुचि होने लगती है । बुद्धि का हास हो जाता है, माता की मृत्यु का भय होता है, व्यापार में हानि होती है तथा वात रोगों से देह पीडित रहती है |यदि अशुभक्षेत्री चन्द्रमा किसी शुभ भावपति से सम्बन्थ करता हो तो उपरोक्त बुरे फलों में किंचित कमी हो जाती है तथा कभी-कभी सुख एव लाभ भी मिल जाता है। यदि चन्द्रमा छठे, आठवें अथवा बारहवें भाव में से किसी एक में क्षीणा होकर पाप प्रभाव में हो तो जातक को अपनी दशा में अत्यधिक बुरे फल देता है । शत्रुभाव में होने से जातक को विभिन्न प्रकार के रोग घेर लेते है |स्त्री से वियोग होता है ,घर में कलह का वातावरण बनता है | यदि चद्रमा अष्टम भाव में हो तो पद में अवनति,व्यवसाय में हानि,जैसे कुफल मिलते है |

त्रिदोष निवारण कार्तिक मास में
कार्तिक मास को शास्त्रों में पुण्य मास कहा गया है। पुराणों के अनुसार जो फल सामान्य दिनों में एक हजार बार गंगा नदी में स्नान का होता है तथा प्रयाग में कुंभ के दौरान गंगा स्नान का फल होता है, वही फल कार्तिक माह में सूर्योदय से पूर्व किसी भी नदी में स्नान कर पूजा करने से प्राप्त हो जाता है। शास्त्रों के अनुसार कार्तिक मास स्नान की शुरुआत शरद पूर्णिमा से होती है और इसका समापन कार्तिक पूर्णिमा को होता है। जब अपत्य हिनता, कष्टमय जीवन और दारिद्र, शरीर के न छुटने वाले विकार भुतप्रेत, पिशाच्च बाधा, अपमृत्यू, अपघातों का सिलसिला साथ ही पुर्वजन्म में मिले पितृशाप, प्रेतशाप, मातृशाप, भ्रातृशाप, पत्निशाप, मातुलशाप आदी संकट मनुष्य के सामने निश्चल रुप में खडे हो। इसके अलावा नाग या सर्प की इस जन्म में अथवा पिछले किसी जन्म में हत्या की गयी तो उसका शाप लगता है। वात, पित्त, कफ जैसे त्रिदोष, जन्य ज्वर, शुळ, ऊद, गंडमाला, कुष्ट्कंडु, नेत्रकर्णकच्छ आदी सारे रोगो का निवारण करने के लिए एवं संतती प्राप्ति के लिए साथ ही जीवन में सभी प्रकार के सुख एवं मोक्ष की प्राप्ति के लिए कार्तिक माह में किए गए प्रयोजन शुभ फल की प्राप्ति देते हैं। इन सभी प्रकार के कर्म के लिए कार्तिक मास के प्रारंभ में अर्थात् अश्विनी पक्ष की पूर्णिमा से कार्तिक मास का स्नान, दान और व्रत पूजा की जाती हैं इस मास में किए गए प्रयास से सभी शापों से मुक्ति मिलती है। अतः कार्तिक मास में पितृशांति, देवशांति या नारायणबली - नागबली का विधान करना चाहिए। ये विधान श्री क्षेत्र अमलेश्वर में करना चाहिए।

नरक चतुर्दशी की पूजन विधि
आज के दिन नरक से मुक्ति पाने के लिए तेल लगाकर अपामार्ग के पौधे सहित जल में स्नान करना चाहिए और संध्या काल में दीप दान करना चाहिए। इस दिन को छोटी दीपावली भी कहते हैं। इस दिन सूर्योदय से पहले आटा, तेल और हल्दी का उबटन लगाकर स्नान करें। थाली में सोलह एक मुखी छोटे दीपक तथा एक चर्तुमुख आटे का दीपक जलायें। फिर षोडशोपचार से इनका पूजन करें एवं सोलह दीपको को घर के अंदर तथा एक चर्तुमुख दीपक को घर के दरवाजे पर रखें और लक्ष्मी जी के आगे चैक पूरकर धूप, दीप से पूजन करें इससे सभी प्रकार की सिद्धियाॅ प्राप्त होती हैं।

क्यूँ मनाया जाता है नरक चतुर्दर्शी का त्योहार
एक बार रंतीदेवी नामक राजा हुए थे। वे बड़े धर्मात्मा और दानी थे। उनकी अंतिम काल में यमदूत उन्हें नरक ले जाने के लिए आयें, राजा ने यमदूतों से इस बारे में प्रश्न किया तो यमदूतों ने बताया कि तुम्हारे द्वार से एक ब्राम्हण भूखा लौट गया था, इसलिए तुम्हे नरक जाना पड़ेगा। यह सुनकर राजा ने यमदूतों से एक वर्ष की आयु बढ़ाने के लिए विनती की। यमदूतों ने स्वीकार कर लिया। अब राजा ने ऋषियों से इस पाप का प्रायश्च्छित पूछा। तब ऋषियों ने बताया कि हे राजन कार्तिक मास की कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुदर्शी को व्रत रखकर भगवान कृष्ण का पूजन करों, ब्राम्हणों को भोजन कराकर दक्षिणा देकर फिर ब्राम्हणों से अपना अपराध कहकर क्षमा मांगना, इससे मुक्ति मिलेगी। राजा ने इस दिन नियम पूर्वक व्रत किया और विष्णुलोक की प्राप्ति की।
इस दिन सौंर्दय रूप श्री कृष्ण की पूजा भी की जाती है। इसे रूप चतुदर्शी भी कहते हैं। एक समय भारत वर्ष में हिरर्णयगर्भ नामक नगर में एक योगीराज रहते थे। उन्होंने चित्त को एकाग्र कर समाधि लगा ली। उनके शरीर में कीड़े पड़ गए। योगीराज दुखी हुए, उसी समय वहाॅ नारदमुनि प्रगट हुए। योगीराज ने अपने रोग का कारण पूछा। नारदजी ने कहा कि आप भगवान का चिंतन तो करते हैं परंतु देह आचार्य का पालन नहीं करते। योगीराज ने रोग का निदान पूछा। नारदजी ने कहा कि कार्तिक मास की कृष्णपक्ष की चतुदर्शी को भगवान कृष्ण का पूजन और व्रत करों तो तुम्हारा देह पुनः पूर्व की भांति हो जायेगा। योगीराज ने ऐसा ही किया और उसी समय उनका शरीर पूर्ववत हो गया। तब से ही इस चतुदर्शी को रूप चतुदर्शी कहने लगे।

अध्यात्मिक तरंगों से परिपूर्ण शरद पूर्णिमा
कुछ रात्रियों का बहुत महत्व होता है जैसे नवरात्री, शिवरात्रि, पूनम की रात्रि आदि शारदीय नवरात्र के बादे आने वाले शरद पूर्णिमा का अपना अलग ही धार्मिक महत्व है। कहा जाता है कि इस दिन अमृत की वर्षा होती है। आश्विन मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की पूर्णिमा को शरद पूर्णिमा कहते हैं। इसे ‘रास पूर्णिमा’ भी कहते हैं। इनमे चंद्रमा के नीचे बैठ कर जप व् त्राटक करने को महत्व दिया गया है। ग्रह नक्षत्र के हिसाब से शरद पूर्णिमा की रात्रि चन्द्रमा पृथ्वी के बहुत नजदीक होती है इस दिन वातावरण में एक अध्यात्मिक तरंगे प्रवाहित होती हैं, जिस से सकारात्मक विचार व मन प्रफुलित होता है। ज्योतिष की मान्यता है कि संपूर्ण वर्ष में केवल इसी दिन चंद्रमा षोडश कलाओं का होता है। कहा जाता है इस रात्रि को चंद्रमा की किरणों से सुधा झरती है इसलिए रासोत्सव का यह दिन भगवान कृष्ण ने जगत की भलाई के लिए निर्धारित किया है क्योंकि इस दिन श्री कृष्ण को कार्तिक स्नान करते समय स्वयं (कृष्ण) को पति रूप में प्राप्त करने की कामना से देवी पूजन करने वाली कुमारियों को चीर हरण के अवसर पर दिए वरदान की याद आई थी और उन्होंने मुरलीवादन करके यमुना के तट पर गोपियों के संग रास रचाया था। इस दिन मंदिरों में विशेष सेवा-पूजन किया जाता है। तथा इस दिन खीर बनाकर अमृत वर्षा के उपरांत दूसरे दिन प्रातःकाल उसे ग्रहण करने से स्वास्थ्य लाभ प्राप्त करने का विधान है।
कैसे मनाएँ
इस दिन प्रातः काल स्नान करके आराध्य देव को सुंदर वस्त्राभूषणों से सुशोभित करके आवाहन, आसान, आचमन, वस्त्र, गंध, अक्षत, पुष्प, धूप, दीप, नैवेद्य, ताम्बूल, सुपारी, दक्षिणा आदि से उनका पूजन करना चाहिए। रात्रि के समय गौदुग्ध (गाय के दूध) से बनी खीर में घी तथा चीनी मिलाकर अर्द्धरात्रि के समय भगवान को अर्पण (भोग लगाना) करना चाहिए।
पूर्ण चंद्रमा के आकाश के मध्य स्थित होने पर उनका पूजन करें तथा खीर का नैवेद्य अर्पण करके, रात को खीर से भरा बर्तन खुली चांदनी में रखकर दूसरे दिन उसका भोजन करें तथा सबको उसका प्रसाद दें। ऐसा करने से मानसिक शांति तथा स्वास्थ्य लाभ प्राप्त होता है।

धनतेरस की कथा
एक समय भगवान विष्णु मृत्युलोक में विचरण करने के लिए आ रहे थे, लक्ष्मी जी ने भी साथ चलने का आग्रह किया। विष्णु जी बोले- 'यदि मैं जो बात कहूं, वैसे ही मानो, तो चलो।' लक्ष्मी जी ने स्वीकार किया और भगवान विष्णु, लक्ष्मी जी सहित भूमण्डल पर आए। कुछ देर बाद एक स्थान पर भगवान विष्णु लक्ष्मी से बोले-'जब तक मैं न आऊं, तुम यहाँ ठहरो। मैं दक्षिण दिशा की ओर जा रहा हूं, तुम उधर मत देखना।' विष्णुजी के जाने पर लक्ष्मी को कौतुक उत्पन्न हुआ कि आख़िर दक्षिण दिशा में क्या है जो मुझे मना किया गया है और भगवान स्वयं दक्षिण में क्यों गए, कोई रहस्य ज़रूर है। लक्ष्मी जी से रहा न गया, ज्योंही भगवान ने राह पकड़ी, त्योंही लक्ष्मी भी पीछे-पीछे चल पड़ीं। कुछ ही दूर पर सरसों का खेत दिखाई दिया। वह ख़ूब फूला था। वे उधर ही चलीं। सरसों की शोभा से वे मुग्ध हो गईं और उसके फूल तोड़कर अपना शृंगार किया और आगे चलीं। आगे गन्ने (ईख) का खेत खड़ा था। लक्ष्मी जी ने चार गन्ने लिए और रस चूसने लगीं। उसी क्षण विष्णु जी आए और यह देख लक्ष्मी जी पर नाराज़ होकर शाप दिया- 'मैंने तुम्हें इधर आने को मना किया था, पर तुम न मानीं और यह किसान की चोरी का अपराध कर बैठीं। अब तुम उस किसान की 12 वर्ष तक इस अपराध की सज़ा के रूप में सेवा करो।' ऐसा कहकर भगवान उन्हें छोड़कर क्षीरसागर चले गए। लक्ष्मी किसान के घर रहने लगीं।
वह किसान अति दरिद्र था। लक्ष्मीजी ने किसान की पत्नी से कहा- 'तुम स्नान कर पहले इस मेरी बनाई देवी लक्ष्मी का पूजन करो, फिर रसोई बनाना, तुम जो मांगोगी मिलेगा।' किसान की पत्नी ने लक्ष्मी के आदेशानुसार ही किया। पूजा के प्रभाव और लक्ष्मी की कृपा से किसान का घर दूसरे ही दिन से अन्न, धन, रत्न, स्वर्ण आदि से भर गया और लक्ष्मी से जगमग होने लगा। लक्ष्मी ने किसान को धन-धान्य से पूर्ण कर दिया। किसान के 12 वर्ष बड़े आनन्द से कट गए। तत्पश्चात 12 वर्ष के बाद लक्ष्मीजी जाने के लिए तैयार हुईं। विष्णुजी, लक्ष्मीजी को लेने आए तो किसान ने उन्हें भेजने से इंकार कर दिया। लक्ष्मी भी बिना किसान की मर्जी वहाँ से जाने को तैयार न थीं। तब विष्णुजी ने एक चतुराई की। विष्णुजी जिस दिन लक्ष्मी को लेने आए थे, उस दिन वारुणी पर्व था। अत: किसान को वारुणी पर्व का महत्त्व समझाते हुए भगवान ने कहा- 'तुम परिवार सहित गंगा में जाकर स्नान करो और इन कौड़ियों को भी जल में छोड़ देना। जब तक तुम नहीं लौटोगे, तब तक मैं लक्ष्मी को नहीं ले जाऊंगा।' लक्ष्मीजी ने किसान को चार कौड़ियां गंगा के देने को दी। किसान ने वैसा ही किया। वह सपरिवार गंगा स्नान करने के लिए चला। जैसे ही उसने गंगा में कौड़ियां डालीं, वैसे ही चार हाथ गंगा में से निकले और वे कौड़ियां ले लीं। तब किसान को आश्चर्य हुआ कि वह तो कोई देवी है। तब किसान ने गंगाजी से पूछा-'माता! ये चार भुजाएं किसकी हैं?' गंगाजी बोलीं- 'हे किसान! वे चारों हाथ मेरे ही थे। तूने जो कौड़ियां भेंट दी हैं, वे किसकी दी हुई हैं?' किसान ने कहा- 'मेरे घर जो स्त्री आई है, उन्होंने ही दी हैं।'
इस पर गंगाजी बोलीं- 'तुम्हारे घर जो स्त्री आई है वह साक्षात लक्ष्मी हैं और पुरुष विष्णु भगवान हैं। तुम लक्ष्मी को जाने मत देना, नहीं तो पुन: निर्धन हो जाआगे।' यह सुन किसान घर लौट आया। वहां लक्ष्मी और विष्णु भगवान जाने को तैयार बैठे थे। किसान ने लक्ष्मीजी का आंचल पकड़ा और बोला- 'मैं तुम्हें जाने नहीं दूंगा। तब भगवान ने किसान से कहा- 'इन्हें कौन जाने देता है, परन्तु ये तो चंचला हैं, कहीं ठहरती ही नहीं, इनको बड़े-बड़े नहीं रोक सके। इनको मेरा शाप था, जो कि 12 वर्ष से तुम्हारी सेवा कर रही थीं। तुम्हारी 12 वर्ष सेवा का समय पूरा हो चुका है।' किसान हठपूर्वक बोला- 'नहीं अब मैं लक्ष्मीजी को नहीं जाने दूंगा। तुम कोई दूसरी स्त्री यहाँ से ले जाओ।' तब लक्ष्मीजी ने कहा-'हे किसान! तुम मुझे रोकना चाहते हो तो जो मैं कहूं जैसा करो। कल तेरस है, मैं तुम्हारे लिए धनतेरस मनाऊंगी। तुम कल घर को लीप-पोतकर स्वच्छ करना। रात्रि में घी का दीपक जलाकर रखना और सांयकाल मेरा पूजन करना और एक तांबे के कलश में रुपया भरकर मेरे निमित्त रखना, मैं उस कलश में निवास करूंगी। किंतु पूजा के समय मैं तुम्हें दिखाई नहीं दूंगी। मैं इस दिन की पूजा करने से वर्ष भर तुम्हारे घर से नहीं जाऊंगी। मुझे रखना है तो इसी तरह प्रतिवर्ष मेरी पूजा करना।' यह कहकर वे दीपकों के प्रकाश के साथ दसों दिशाओं में फैल गईं और भगवान देखते ही रह गए। अगले दिन किसान ने लक्ष्मीजी के कथानुसार पूजन किया। उसका घर धन-धान्य से पूर्ण हो गया। इसी भांति वह हर वर्ष तेरस के दिन लक्ष्मीजी की पूजा करने लगा।

मान में कमी हो या अपमानित होना पड़े तो करें सूर्यदेव की पूजा -
जीवन में कई छोटी-बड़ी घटनाएॅ या बातें अपमान का कारण बन जाती हैं। वहीं धैर्य अथवा सहिष्णुता की कमी भी अपमान का कारण बनता है। कोई व्यक्ति अपना कार्य ठीक से ना करना या काम की गुणवत्ता में कमी या समय-सीमा में ना कर पाना भी जीवन में अपमान दिला सकता है। जैसे पढा़ई के समय में ठीक से पढ़ाई ना कर पाने के कारण योग्यता के अनुरूप सफलता ना मिलने से जो कार्यक्षेत्र चुनते हैं वहाॅ स्वयं को अपमानित महसूस करते हैं उसी प्रकार कार्य में लापरवाही या कम एकाग्रता से किए गए कार्य में गुणवत्ता की कमी के कारण अपमानित होना पड़ता है। चाहें कारण कोई भी हो अपमान होने का कारण कुंडली के विष्लेषण से जाना जा सकता है। यदि किसी व्यक्ति के लग्न या पंचम स्थान का स्वामी छठवे, आठवे या बारहवे स्थान में हो जाए अथवा कालपुरूष की कुंडली में सूर्य इन स्थान में हो अथवा शनि राहु जैसे ग्रहों से पापाक्रंात हो जाए तो ऐसे व्यक्ति को अपमानित होना पड़ता है। कहा गया है कि
मान सहित विष खाय के, संभू भये जगदीश
