Why to put Vermilion on Hanuman

Wonderful Ramayana mentions a legend, after the coronation of Sri Ramachandra a Tuesday morning when Hanuman hungry, so they rushed to get the mother Janaki have some breakfast. Lord Hanuman get surprised when he see Vermilion on sita's hair and asked that what is this which you had put on your head.Sita said happily that this is vermilion which is the symbol of suhagin women,and it is also very auspicious and lucky for a married women. She said by doing this her husband feels happy.
So that Hanuman thought that on a finger of vermilion can increase the age so he thought that I put whole vermilion on my body and make Shri ram immortal.
After putting vermilion on his body he get infront of shriram everyone in his house laughed at him and also shri ram laughed at him but he feels happy for that.By this humble nature hanuman announced that anyone who put oil and vermilion on hanuman on tuesday they will be happy all their wishes can be fulfilled.
It is said that at the same time unique owner of Hanuman's devotion to Lord Rama to remember all their vermilion dissolving in Jasmine oil is put on the body. Elsewhere it says plating mask.
