कारकांश लग्न और ग्रहों की चाल

कारकांश लग्न में सूर्य व राहु की युति हो व शुभ ग्रह की दृष्टि हो तो व्यक्ति विषवैद्य अर्थात चिकित्सक होता है। कारकांश लग्न में सूर्य व शुक्र दोनों की दृष्टि हो तो व्यक्ति राजा अथवा सरकार का विश्वसनीय होता है। कारकांश लग्न व केतु दोनों पर शुक्र की दृष्टि हो तो व्यक्ति दीक्षा ग्रहण करता है कर्मकाण्डी, यज्ञ, हवन करने वाला होता है।कारकांश लग्न में केतु हो उस पर बुध शनि की दृष्टि हो तो जातक नपुंसक होता है। यदि शुक्र बुध की दृष्टि हो तो जातक दासी पुत्र (नजायज संतान) होता है। कारकांश लग्न में केतु केवल शनि द्वारा दृष्ट हो तो वह व्यक्ति कपटी होता है अर्थात् जैसा वह दिखता है वैसा नहीं होता।यदि कारकांश लग्न से चतुर्थ भाव में चंद्र हो और उस पर शुक्र, मंगल, केतु (किसी भी एक की) दृष्टि हो तो व्यक्ति कुष्ट रोगी होता है। कारकांश लग्न से चतुर्थ में केतु हो तो जातक सूक्ष्म यंत्रों को बनाने वाला (घड़ी साज) मंगल हो तो हथियार रखने वाला शनि हो तो निशानेबाज (धर्नुधारी) राहु हो तो लोहे से समान बनाने वाला होता है।कारकांश लग्न से पंचम भाव में शुुक्र हो तो व्यक्ति कवि, वक्ता या साहित्यकार होता है यदि गुरु हो तो बहुत से विषयों का जानकार विद्वान होता है। यदि शुक्र चंद्र हो तो लेखक, मंगल हो तो तर्कशास्त्री, वकील तथा सूर्य हो तो वेदों का ज्ञाता एवं गायक होता है।कारकांश से सप्तम भाव में गुरु और चंद्र हो तो जातक की पत्नी सुंदर व उसे चाहने वाली होती है, शनि हो तो उम्र में बड़ी रोगी अथवा तपस्विनी होती है। बुध हो तो गायन, वादन कला में निपुण होती है। (10) कारकांश से दशम भाव में बुध हो या बुध की दृष्टि हो तो जातक अपने पेशे में प्रसिद्ध होता है यदि बुध हो और उस पर शुभ ग्रह की दृष्टि हो तो जातक वकील, जज होता है अर्थात विवादों को हल करने वाला होता है। कारकांश लग्न से बाहरवें सूर्य और केतु हो तो जातक शिव भक्त चंद्र हो तो गौरी भक्त, मंगल हो तो कार्तिकेय, बुध और शनि हो तो विष्णु भक्त, गुरु हो तो शिव गौरी (दोनों) शुक्र हो तो लक्ष्मी भक्त या उपासक होता है, राहु हो तो तामसिक भक्ति केतु हो तो गणेश भक्ति वाला होता है। इस प्रकार बहुत से अन्य योग भी दिये गये हैं जिनसे काफी कुछ जानकारी व्यक्ति विशेष के बारे में जानी जा सकती है यहां यह भी ध्यान रखें कि यह सारे फलादेश आज के संदर्भ में समयानुसार परिवर्तन के साथ समझे जा सकते हैं वहीं दृष्टि यहां पर जैमिनी मानी गई है पराशरीय नहीं। आइये अब कुछ उदाहरण से इन्हें समझने का प्रयास करते हैं। यहां आत्मकारक ग्रह चंद्रमा है जो नवांश में मिथुन राशि में ही है अतः कारकांश लग्न मिथुन हुआ जिसके प्रभाव से जातक गायन का शौक रखता है (व्यवसायिक गायन भी किया है) तथा लग्न पर शुक्र चंद्र के प्रभाव से जीविका विद्या द्वारा (शिक्षण व्यवसाय) अर्जित करता है। राहु केतु के पंचम पर प्रभाव होने से जातक गणित विषय की अच्छी जानकारी रखता है। आत्मकारक ग्रह चंद्रमा है जो नवांश में वृश्चिक राशि में गया है अतः कारकांश लग्न वृश्चिक हुआ तथा जिस पर मंगल चंद्र व राहु का प्रभाव है, जातक मां के सुख से वंचित रहा (वृश्चिक लग्न) तथा अग्नि व रसायन धातु कार्य करने वाला (स्वर्णकार) मंगल प्रभाव समस्त भोगों को भोगने वाला धनी (चंद्र प्रभाव) रहा है पचंम भाव पर गुरु का प्रभाव तथा कर्म भाव में शनि ने उन्हें अपने क्षेत्र में बहुत प्रसिद्धि व कई विषयों का जानकार बनाया है। जातक वास्तु, ज्योतिष व धर्म संबंधी जानकारी विद्वता से रखते हैं। आत्मकारक शुक्र है जो मेष राशि नवांश में है अतः कारकांश लग्न मेष हुआ। जिस पर शुक्र चंद्र का स्पष्ट प्रभाव है जातक के पास बहुत चल अचल सम्पत्ति है तथा जातक विद्या के क्षेत्र (शुक्र चंद्र प्रभाव) में है दशम पर सूर्य सरकार द्वारा लाभ दर्शाता है। यह जातक दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय में प्रोफेसर है लग्न कुंडली पर ज्यादातर व्यवसाय का योग दिखता है नौकरी का नहीं अतः कारकांश लग्न सटीक फल दर्शा रहा है। आत्मकारक शुक्र नवांश में मिथुन राशि में है अतः कारकांश लग्न मिथुन हुआ जिस पर सूर्य बुध का प्रभाव है वही दशम पर भी सूर्य बुध का ही प्रभाव है बुध का मुख्य प्रभाव दशम व लग्न पर होने से जातक वकील से जज बना, पचंम भाव में मंगल, शुक्र व राहु केतु के प्रभाव ने कानून विद्या की अच्छी जानकारी व तर्क ज्ञान में दक्षता तथा वक्ता बनाया है। आत्मकारक मंगल है जो सिंह नवांश में है अतः कारकांश लग्न सिंह हुआ जिस पर गुरु मंगल का प्रभाव है जिससे जातक समझदार, व्यवहारिक व जोशीला है दशम शनि (केन्द्र भाव) जातक को प्रसिद्ध एवं अपने कार्य में दक्ष बना रहे हैं पंचम भाव पर राहु, केतु व बुध नीच के प्रभाव से जातक ने ज्यादा शिक्षा नहीं पाई है वहीं नवम भाव सूर्य (उच्च) से सरकार से लाभ तथा बड़ों का आदर सम्मान करना सिखाया है। यह पत्रिका सचिन तेंदुलकर की है। लग्न पर सूर्य शुक्र प्रभाव सरकार से जबरदस्त लाभ एवं सम्मान दिलवाता है। लग्न कुंडली में सप्तमेश नीच राशि होकर बैठा है, विवाह कारक शुक्र सूर्य से अष्टम में पीड़ित है (सूर्य कारकांश लग्न या स्वामी है) गुरु सप्तमेश की शनि (पंचमेश) पर दृष्टि भी है जो आयु में बड़ी जीवन साथी होना तथा प्रेम संबंध होना बता रही है।

प्राकृतिक आपदा का ज्योतिष्य कारण

भारतीय ज्योतिष शास्त्र के प्रवर्तक आचार्यों ने अपनी मेधा शक्ति द्वारा न केवल मनुष्य-मात्र अपितु संपूर्ण विष्व से संबंधित शुभाषुभ फलादेष करने की विधि को विकसित किया। सृष्टि के आरंभ से ही प्राकृतिक आपदाओं ने विष्व की कई विकसित और विकासषील सभ्यताओं को नष्ट कर दिया है अथवा उसे अपूरणीय क्षति पहुँचाई है। वैज्ञानिक शोध भी यह सिद्ध करते हैं कि प्राकृतिक आपदाओं ने ही डायनासोर सदृष विषाल जीवों का अस्तित्व ही समाप्त कर दिया था। आज की परिस्थिति भी उस प्राचीन कालीन विवषता से भिन्न नहीं है। वत्र्तमान परिदृष्य पर दृष्टिपात करें तो स्पष्ट हो जाता है कि ये प्राकृतिक आपदाएँ आकस्मिक रूप स े आती हैं और उस क्षेत्र विषेष की मानव सभ्यता, सम्पत्ति, सामाजिक व आर्थिक स्वरूप को तहस-नहस कर देती हैं तथा अपना व्यापक व विनाषकारी प्रभाव छोड़ जाती हैं। आज के युग को वैज्ञानिक युग कहा जाता है फिर भी इन प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के समक्ष मनुष्य असहाय नजर आता है। जब इन प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के पूर्वानुमान का प्रष्न उठता है तो वैज्ञानिक विकास का दंभ भरने वाले आधुनिक बुद्धिजीवियों का पूर्वानुमान प्रायः गलत ही सिद्ध होता है। भारतीय ज्योतिष षास्त्र इस विषय पर मौन नहीं है और प्रायः इसकी सभी शाखाओं यथा फलित, संहिता, प्रष्न, शकुन, स्वरविज्ञान, हस्तपरीक्षण द्वारा इन प्राकृतिक आपदाओं का सफल और सटीक पूर्वानुमान किया जा सकता है। भूकम्प, ज्वालामुखी विस्फोट, बाढ़, चक्रवाती तूफान, सुनामी, सूखा, बादल का फटना, भ ूस्खलन, उल्कापात, वज्रपात, हिमस्खलन आदि घटनाओं की गणना हम प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के रूप में कर सकते हैं। इन आपदाओं के पूर्वानुमान तथा समाज पर इनके व्यापक प्रभाव का अध्ययन ज्योतिष शास्त्र के संहिता स्कन्ध में अत्यन्त विस्तार से किया गया है। मनुष्यों में पापों के आधिक्य और अविनय से ही ये उपद्रव या उत्पात होते हैं। मनुष्यों के इन पापकर्म तथा अविनय से देवगण अप्रसन्न होते हैं तथा इन उत्पातों को उत्पन्न करते हैं। अब विभिन्न प्राकृतिक आपदाओं को ज्योतिष षास्त्र की विभिन्न विधाओं या स्कंध द्वारा पूर्वानुमान विधि को क्रमषः प्रस्तुत करते हैं। प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के पूर्वानुमान में प्रयुक्त विभिन्न प्रमुख ज्योतिष षास्त्रीय सिद्धांत- संहिता ज्योतिष में नवग्रहों के विभिन्न नक्षत्रों में चार द्वारा प्राकृतिक आपदा विषयक फलादेष की विधियाँ बताई गई हैं। विभिन्न ग्रहों के आपसी युति व दृष्टि संबंध भी इन विनाषकारी घटनाओं की पूर्व सूचना देने में समर्थ हैं। विभिन्न चक्रों के निर्माण द्वारा अतिवृष्टि अनावृष्टि, भूकम्प, निर्घात, दिग्दाह, भूकम्प आदि का फलादेश बताने की विधि नरपतिजयचर्या स्वरा ेदय ग्रंथ में उपलब्ध होती है। विभिन्न वृक्षों में लगने वाले फल अथवा पुष्पों की मात्रा द्वारा उपरोक्त विषयक फलादेष किया जा सकता है, इसका वर्णन वराहमिहिराचार्य ने अपने ग्रंथ वाराहीसंहिता के फलकुसुमलताध्याय में की है। काकतन्त्र की विभिन्न विधियाँ इन आपदाओं का पूर्वानुमान करने में सक्षम है। हस्तसंजीवनी ग्रन्थ प्रष्नकत्र्ता द्वारा हस्तस्पर्ष तथा चेष्टाओं से भी बाढ़, सूखा, भूकम्प आदि का फलादेष करना बताता है। शकुन शास्त्र में विभिन्न जीव-जन्तुओं के व्यवहारों के अध्ययन द्वारा इन प्राकृतिक घटनाओं के पूर्वानुमान की विधि बताई गई है। संहिता ग्रन्थों में सूर्यग्रहण, चंद्र ग्रहण, ग्रहों के मार्गो तथा वक्री होने, संक्रान्ति, ग्रहयुद्ध, पूर्णिमा तथा अमावस्या तिथियों को मौसम में आकस्मिक बदलाव के दृष्टिकोण से अत्यन्त संवेदनषील माना गया है। ज्योतिषशास्त्र की उपरोक्त विधियों का आश्रय लेकर तथा ऋषि प्रणीत ग्रन्थों को आधार मानकर विभिन्न प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के पूर्वानुमान में सहायक सिद्धांतों तथा बिंदुओं को क्रमवार रूप से प्रस्तुत किया जा रहा है। अतिवृष्टि/बाढ़- यदि आषाढ़ी पूर्णिमा के दिन सूर्यास्त के समय पष्चिम दिषा से हवा बहे तो उस वर्ष अतिवृष्टि होती है। वर्षा ऋतु में यदि राषि चक्र में बुध व शुक्र के समीप सूर्य हो तो अत्यधिक वृष्टि होती है। बुध और शुक्र समीप हों तो भी अतिवृष्टि। जब राषि चक्र में सूर्य से पीछे या आगे समस्त ग्रह हों तो भूमि समुद्र के समान बन जाती है। त्रिनाड़ी चक्र में जब समस्त शुभ व पाप ग्रह एक नाड़ी में हों तो अत्यधिक वृष्टि। सप्तनाड़ी चक्र के जलनाड़ी में शुक्र व चंद्रमा के होने पर अतिवृष्टि। वर्षा ऋतु में जिस दिन एक ही नक्षत्र में कई ग्रह अथवा समस्त ग्रह एकत्रित हों तो अतिवृष्टि। अमृत नाड़ी में यदि चंद्रमा के साथ 4 या अधिक ग्रह स्थित हों तो सात दिन तक निरंतर घनघोर वृष्टि होती है। चंद्रमा व भौम एक नाड़ी में, गुरू के उदय व अस्त में, मार्गी होने के समय, वक्री होने पर और संगम हो जाने पर जल नाड़ी में समस्त ग्रह हों तो अत्यधिक वृष्टि। अर्जुन वृक्ष पर यदि पुष्पादि का आधिक्य हो तो उस वर्ष प्रभूतवृष्टि प्रश्नकालीन लग्न में जलराषि में स्थित चंद्रमा पर बलवान शुक्र की दृष्टि भारी वर्षा कराता है। सूर्य, चन्द्रमा, मंगल, शनि व राहु जलीय राषियों में हो और शुक्र, बुध स्थिर राषि में हो तो भीषण वर्षा होती है। वर्षा के प्रष्नकालीन शकुन में कृष्ण गौ या भरे हुए कृष्ण घड़े का दर्षन हो तो प्रभूत वृष्टि। यदि प्रष्न कारक पाँच अंगुली के स्पर्ष में अंगूठे का स्पर्ष करे तो महावृष्टि। काक बलिपिण्ड द्वारा यदि पूर्वानुमान किया जाये तो जलपिण्ड ग्रहण करने पर प्रभूत वर्षा। काक यदि वृक्ष के अग्रभाग पर घोंसला बनाए तो अति वर्षा। भूस्खलन- चंद्रमा अनुराधा नक्षत्र में हो तथा बुध व मंगल पुष्य नक्षत्र में हो तो भूस्खलन का भय। अत्यधिक वर्षा के ग्रहयोग पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में भूस्खलन योग का निर्माण करते हैं। ग्रहों का जलीय, प्रचण्ड व सौम्य नाड़ी में होना भी भूस्खलन का भय उत्पन्न करते हैं। चंद्रमा वृष्चिक या धनु राषि तथा शुक्र सिंह में हो तो हिमस्खलन या भूस्खलन की संभावना। भूस्खलन जैसी प्राकृतिक आपदा का मूल कारण शनि और राहु की युति को माना जा सकता है। राहु को वन तथा पर्वतीय प्रदेष का स्वामी माना जाता है और शनि के साथ युति इसे प्रबल भूस्खलन का कारण बनाता है। प्रबल वृष्टि योगों का इस ग्रह युति के साथ उपस्थित होना इसकी विनाषकता को और अधिक बढ़ा देता है। केदारनाथ त्रासदी में उपर्युक्त ग्रहयोग द्रष्टव्य हैं। सुनामी- सप्तनाड़ी चक्र, त्रिनाड़ी चक्र के सूक्ष्म विष्लेषण द्वारा इस प्राकृतिक आपदा का पूर्वानुमान किया जा सकता है। समुद्र के अंदर आने वाले भूकंप इस आपदा के प्रमुख कारण हैं। अतः समुद्री इलाकों में भूकंप के ग्रहयोग, गोचर, शकुन या प्रष्नादि द्वारा इस आपदा का पूर्वानुमान किया जाता है। द्वयाधिक ग्रहों के दहन, पवन, प्रचंड, सौम्य, नीर या दहन नाड़ियों में होना इस योग को प्रबलता प्रदान करता है। सूर्य और शनि यदि वृष्चिक अथवा मेष राषि में स्थित हों तो समुद्री तूफान का योग बनता है। सूर्य ग्रहण व चंद्र ग्रहण के समय मंगल, बुध व शनि का आपस में संबंध हो तो सुनामी का भय होता है। इसी तरह, राहु व केतु के मध्य चार या अधिक ग्रह अषुभ स्वामियों के नक्षत्र पर हों तथा शनि का मंगल, गुरु अथवा बुध के साथ संबंध बन रहा हो तो भी समुद्री तूफान का भय होता है। धूलिवर्षा- गुरु, शनि, शुक्र तथा बुध एक ही राषि में स्थित हों तो धूलिवर्षा का योग बनता है। उल्का पतन: सूर्य से पाँचवें या सातवें चंद्रमा और छठे स्थान में मंगल हो तो उल्कापात होता है। यदि शुभ ग्रह मित्र भावों में स्थित न हों तो पर्वतों पर विद्युत्पात होता है। अनावृष्टि/सूखा- आषाढ़ी पूर्णिमा के दिन सूर्यास्त के समय आग्नेय कोण अथवा दक्षिण दिषा से वायु चले तो उस वर्ष अनावृष्टि होती है तथा ध् ाान्यों का विनाष होता है। इसी दिन और इसी समय यदि नैर्ऋत्य कोण से हवा बहे तो भी अनावृष्टि होती है। सूर्य के अगली राषि में यदि मंगल हो तो अनावृष्टि का योग बनता है। बुध और शुक्र के मध्य सूर्य स्थित हो तो सूखा। त्रिनाड़ी चक्र में नपुंसक ग्रह तथा स्त्री ग्रह एक ही नाड़ी में हों तो अनावृष्टि। वर्षा ऋतु में जब चन्द्रमा व शुक्र एक ही राषि में पाप ग्रह से दृष्ट या युक्त हों तो अल्पवृष्टि या अनावृष्टि। चंद्रमा यदि केवल पापग्रह से मिले तो अल्पवृष्टि। सप्तनाड़ी चक्र के जिस नाड़ी में केवल पापग्रह स्थित हों तो उसमें वृष्टि का अभाव होता है। जिस वर्ष शीषम में अधिक फल लगें तो दुर्भिक्ष का भय। निचुल वृक्ष में फल-फूल अधिक हों तो अनावृष्टि। यदि लताओं के पत्रों में छिद्र, शुष्कता व रूक्षता हों तो उस वर्ष वृष्टि का अभाव। यदि खैर के वृक्ष में पुष्पादि की वृद्धि हो तो अकाल का प्रकोप। वर्षा के प्रष्न लग्न में चतुर्थ भाव में शनि और राहु हो तो उस वर्ष महाघोर दुर्भिक्ष। यदि प्रष्नकारक पाँच अंगुली के स्पर्ष में अनामिका को स्पर्ष करे तो अत्यल्प वृष्टि। काकबलि पिंड में यदि कौआ वायव्य कोण का पिंड भक्षण करे तो अनावृष्टि। यदि त्रिपिण्ड में से अंगार पिण्ड ग्रहण करे तो वृष्टि का अभाव। काक वृक्ष के नीचे थड़ में घर बनाए तो अनावृष्टि और अकाल। किसी वृक्ष, भवन, वल्मीक के कोटर में घोंसला बनाए तो अकाल का प्रबल भय। मंगल आष्लेषा नक्षत्र में हो तो अकाल। तूफान- आषाढ़ पूर्णिमा के दिन सूर्यास्त के समय वायव्य कोण से वायु चले तो उस वर्ष आंधी का भय होता है। बुध के साथ मंगल या शनि का योग हो तो तूफान के साथ-साथ अग्नि भय भी होता है। त्रिनाड़ी चक्र की एक ही नाड़ी में नपुंसक व स्त्री ग्रहों का योग हो तो तीव्र वायु चलती है, इसी प्रकार समस्त पुरुष ग्रह एक ही नाड़ी में हो तो भी वायु का प्रकोप होता है। सप्तनाड़ी चक्र के चण्ड अथवा वायु नाड़ी में ग्रह हों तो आंधी तुफान का भय। विषाखा, अनुराधा व ज्येष्ठा अर्थात् नपुंसक नक्षत्रों में योग होने पर तीव्र वायु चलती है और प्रभूत विनाष होता है। कपित्थ वृक्ष में फल-फूल अधिक हों तो उस वर्ष वायु का प्रकोप। कौआ वृक्ष के वायव्य कोण की शाखा पर घोंसला बनाए तो आंधी-तूफान का भय। नैर्ऋत्य कोण का घोंसला भी आंधी-झंझावात का भय उत्पन्न करता है। अक्षय तृतीया के दिन की ग्रहस्थिति के अनुसार भौमचक्र का निर्माण करें, इस चक्र में राहु जहाँ , उस नक्षत्र के अक्षरानुसार जो देष व स्थान हों वहाँ बवंडर, आंधी आदि का प्रकोप। दो या उससे अधिक ग्रह जल राषि, दहन नाड़ी, प्रचंड नाड़ी और सौम्य नाड़ियों में हो तो तूफान का भय। चंद्र बुध की युति हो तथा सूर्य मूल नक्षत्र में हो, जब बृहस्पति और बुध सूर्य के साथ स्थित होकर स्वराषियों में स्थित ग्रहों के अनुवत्र्ती हों तो भयंकर तूफान आता है। इसी प्रकार मनुष्य, सर्प तथा छोटे जंतु युद्ध करते दिखाई दें तो भी तूफान का भय होता है। भूकंप- जहाँ तक ज्योतिषश्षास्त्र के ग्रन्थों का प्रष्न है इन ग्रन्थों में भूकंप के कारणों की अपेक्षा भूकंप के पूर्वानुमान के संबंध में अधिक चर्चा की गई है। ग्रहचार अध्यायों में यथा भौमचार, शनिचार, राहु चार, ग ्रहणाध्याय आदि में विभिन्न ग्रहस्थितियों की अत्यन्त विस्तृत चर्चा की गई है जो संभावित भूकंप के द्योतक माने गए हैं। शकुन शास्त्र के विभिन्न ग्रन्थों यथा वसन्तराज शकुन में भी इस संदर्भ में चर्चा की गई है। भूकंप से पूर्व पषुपक्षियों के व्यवहार में आने वाले परिवर्तनों को भी भूकंप पूर्वानुमान की सहायक सामग्री के रूप में प्रयोग किया जा सकता है। सभी ग्रहों की युति एक ही राषियों में हो। शनि मंगल तथा राहु केंद्र, 2/12 या 6/8 में हों। राहु से मंगल सातवें हो, मंगल से बुध पांचवे हो, चंद्रमा बुध से चैथे हो अथवा केंद्र में कहीं भी हो तो भूकंप योग बनता है। यदि मंगल पूर्वा-फाल्गुनी नक्षत्र में उदय करता है अथवा उत्तराषाढ़ा नक्षत्र में वक्री होता है तथा रोहिणी नक्षत्र मंे अस्त होता है तो संपूर्ण पृथ्वी मंडल का भ्रमण अथवा भूकंप होता है। यदि मंगल मघा एवं रोहिणी नक्षत्र के योगतारा का भेदन करता है तो भूकंप होता है। विजय संवत्सर में भूकम्प के योग बनते हैं। धनु राषि में बृहस्पति के जाने पर भूकंप आता है। शनि जब मीन राषि में हो तो भी भूकंप होते हैं। वृष तथा वृष्चिक राषि का भूकंप से विषेष संबंध दृष्टिगत होता है। गुरू, शनि, हर्षल तथा नेपच्यून स्थिर राषि मे हो, विषेषकर वृष तथा वृष्चिक जन्मकुंडली के बारह भाव मानव जीवन के विभिन्न अवयवों को दर्शाते हैं। किसी भाव के फल का विचार करते समय सर्वप्रथम उस भाव और भावेश के बल का आकलन किया जाता है। जिस भाव में उसके स्वामी या शुभ ग्रह की स्थिति हो, या उनकी दृष्टि पड़ती हो, तब वह भाव बलवान होकर शुभ फलदायक होता है। इसके विपरीत स्थिति में वह भाव निर्बल होकर शुभ फल नहीं देता है। जब भाव का स्वामी स्वोच्च, मित्र या स्वराशि में स्थित होकर शुभ भावाधिपतियों से संबंध बनाता है तब वह बलवान होता है और अपने स्वामित्व भाव का उत्तम फल देता है। भावेश का बली होना भाव की शुभता बढ़ाता है। भाव व भावेश के साथ ही उस भाव के ‘नित्य कारक’ ग्रह का भी आंकलन आवश्यक होता है। ‘भाव कारक’, ‘वस्तु कारक’, ‘योग कारक’ व ‘जैमिनी कारक’ सर्वथा भिन्न हैं। महर्षि पाराशर ने प्रत्येक भाव का एक ‘नित्य कारक’ निर्धारित किया था - सूर्यो गुरुः कुजः सोमो गुरुभौमः सितः शनिः। गुरुंचन्द्रसुतो जीवो मन्द´च भावकारकाः।। परंतु कालांतर में रचित ज्योतिष ग्रंथों में वर्णित ‘नित्य भावकारक’ इस प्रकार हैं- प्रथम भाव -सूर्य, द्वितीय भाव-बृहस्पति, तृतीय भाव-मंगल, चतुर्थ भाव - चंद्र व बुध, पंचम भाव -बृहस्पति, षष्ठ भाव -शनि व मंगल, सप्तम भाव - शुक्र, अष्टम भाव - शनि, नवम भाव - सूर्य व बृहस्पति, दशम भाव - सूर्य, बुध, बृहस्पति व शनि, एकादश भाव - बृहस्पति, द्वादश भाव - शनि। फलदीपिका ग्रंथ (15, 25) के अनुसार- तस्मिन भावे कारके भावनाथे वीर्योपेते तस्य भावस्य सौरव्यम्। अर्थात्, ”जब भाव, भावेश और कारक तीनों बलवान हों तब उस भाव का अच्छा फल व्यक्ति को प्राप्त होता है।“ ‘भाव प्रकाश’ ग्रंथ के अनुसार- भवन्ति भावभावेशकारका बलसंयुताः। तदा पूर्ण फलं द्वाभ्याम एकेनाल्प फलं वदेत्।। अर्थात् ” यदि भाव, भाव का स्वामी तथा भाव का कारक तीनों बलवान हों तब उस भाव का पूर्ण फल कहना चाहिए, और यदि तीन में से दो बलवान हों तो आधा फल कहना चाहिए, तथा केवल एक ही बलवान होने पर बहुत थोड़ा फल होता है। ‘जातक पारिजात’ ग्रंथ (अ. 2-51) ने प्रचलित भाव कारकों का विवरण देने के बाद अगले श्लोक (अ. 2-52) में कहा है कि यदि शुक्र, बुध और बृहस्पति लग्न से क्रमशः सप्तम, चतुर्थ और पंचम भाव में हानिप्रद होते हैं तथा शनि अष्टम भाव में शुभ फल करता है। ज्ञातव्य है कि उपरोक्त ग्रह इन भावों के कारक माने गये हैं। परंतु ‘भावार्थ रत्नाकर’ ग्रंथ के रचयिता श्री रामानुजाचार्य ने निम्न श्लोक में सभी कारक ग्रहों को संबंधित भाव में हानिकारक बताया है- सर्वेषु भाव स्थानेषु तत्त्द भावादिकारकः। विद्यते तस्यभावस्य फलमस्वंल्पमुदीरितय्।। अर्थात्, ”सभी कारक ग्रह अपने संबंधित भाव में स्थित होने पर उस भाव के फल को बहुत कम करते हैं।“ उपरोक्त शलोक कालांतर में ”कारको भाव नाशाय“ नामक लोकोक्ति के रूप में प्रचलित हो गया। इसी आधार पर बृहस्पति का पंचम भाव में होना पुत्र अभाव का सूचक, शुक्र की सप्तम भाव में स्थिति वैवाहिक सुख का अभाव सूचक, तथा छोटे भाई के कारक मंगल ग्रह का तृतीय भाव में सिथति छोटे भाई के अभाव का सूचक कहा जाता है। अपवाह स्वरूप केवल शनि ग्रह का अष्टम (आयु) में होना दीर्घायु देता है। ‘कारको भाव नाशाय’ के पीछे जो हेतु है उस पर विचार करने से ज्ञात होता है कि जब किसी भाव का कारक उसी भाव में स्थित होता है तब साझे विषय के दो द्योतक (भाव व कारक) इकट्ठे होंगे और उन पर किसी पापी ग्रह का प्रभाव होने पर उनके साझे तथ्य की हानि होगी। वहीं शनि ग्रह की अष्टम आयु) भाव में स्थिति अपनी धीमी चाल से आयु को बढ़ायेगा। अनुभव में भी आता है कि जब भाव में उसका कारक शत्रु राशि में या अशुभ प्रभावी होने पर ही उस भाव के फल में कमी आती है। परंतु जब कोई ग्रह उस भाव में स्थित हो जिसका वह कारक है और वह स्वराशि अथवा मित्र राशि में स्थित हो वा शुभ दृष्ट हो तब अवश्य ही भाव फल की वृद्धि होती है। जैसे तृतीय भाव में मंगल यदि स्वराशि या मित्र राशि में हो और शुभ दृष्ट हो तो जातक का भाई अवश्य होता है। इसी प्रकार चतुर्थ भाव में चंद्रमा शुभ राशि में शुभ दृष्ट होने पर माता दीर्घजीवी होती है तथा सप्तम भाव में शुभ राशि स्थित व दृष्ट शुक्र वैवाहिक सुख देता है।
